Kabanata 12

"Sino ba naunang nangseen?"

He froze before continuing making circular motions on my hand.

"I didn't seen you, my friend has my phone because they don't trust me. They were worried if nalaman mo yung gagawin namin."

"It's alright! Since you are sorry, how aboutt?"

I look around and didn't notice him smile.

"Libre na lang ulit kita." Sabi niya. Napatingin ako sa kanya bago umiling.

"Nope, tulungan mo na lang ako sa may PerDev ko."

"Sure ka?"

Tumango ako bago nilabas yung libro ko. Ngiti ang binigay ko sa kanya bago hanapin yung page ng pinapagawa sa amin.

I beamed at him when I found it and showed it to him like a little girl. He stared with me before leaning in to place his forehead on my shoulder.

"Damn..."

"Bakit ka nagmumura?"

He shook his head and just laid his head there. I looked at my friends looking at me with a smile on their face. I puffed my cheeks before tapping him.

"I thought you were going to help me? Why are you just leaning there?"

He placed his arms on my waist before pulling me closer to him. I looked at my friends who were holding their screams.

"Guys, am I that huggable?"

He nodded before hugging me more. My friends coughed before saying something.

"Ehem! Friends ba?" Sabi ni Ivy.

"Friends sila." Sabi ni Julian.

"Mukhang hindi naman prends." Asar ni Jace.

"Alam ko crush niya dati yun?" Sabay sabi ulit ni Jace.

"Balita ko rin eh."Sabi ni Ivy sa kanya.

"Baka hindi na crush." Sabay tawa ni Julian. I felt him froze and hands shaking around my waist.

"May nangyari ba, Pierre?"

"W-wala naman Aislin."

"Sure ka?"

Tumango siya, bago pa lalo siniksik yung ulo niya sa akin yung ulo niya.

"Malapit na pala birthday mo, Pierre ano gusto mong regalo?"

Inangat na niya yung ulo niya mula sa may balikat ko bago kunin yung libro sa aking mga kamay. I guess he doesn't to talk about it.

He took my pencil from my hand and wrote on my book. I placed my chin on his shoulder before asking him a question.

"What do you want to do for your birthday?"

My voice came out sweet, different from what my voice sounds like. He froze before looking at me.

"Movie marathon?"

"What movie?"

"Anything you want."

His voice went soft before turning his attention on my book. I encircled my hands on his waist and leaned more.

His left arms pulled me closer to him and before I know it I was fast asleep on his shoulders.

Hi, I'll make the next part a point of view of her friends, just a quick background of her in their eyes. I want you guys to know more about our Aislin Asteria Cabelo, and her relationship with Pierre Josh Miller on their high school days. I am also going to give some of her friends their own point of view.

I now present you Julian Rosh Becket. One of her best friends and the person she can fangirl with.

I dedicate this chapter to my one friend in our group. You know who you are but I will not spoil my account.

Aislin Asteria Cabelo. At first I thought she was weird at first, because when I was first grouped with her she sent me a pure innocent smile. When we were in Grade 8 she and I had different group of friends. I was already friends with Ivy that year.

When we were still in the classmates but different sections. I didn't expect that I would be friends with the most pure, forgiving and understanding friends. She was still part of their group but they started to drift apart because of the distance of her old friends.

I saw how she suffered some judgmental stares of our classmates saying that she was a backstabber. But despite that, she smiled happily when she was with us three. She was sensitive, always pressuring herself to do better because of her parents and the comparison between her and her siblings.

For me, she was the second strongest person that I know next to Ivy, both having problems but being able to hide by their smile or calmness.

"Pierre, balik mo yung notebook ko!" Sigaw niya habang kinukuha ni Pierre yung notebook niya.

"Ang damot mo, pakopya lang ng notes sa may science."

"Eh, bakit hindi ka kasi nakikinig kay Ma'am Shan?"

"Alam ko naman kasing magsusulat ka eh."

Lumapit kami kay Aislin na malapit ng sabunutan si Pierre. Nakakatawa lang kasi si Lina may crush sa kanya ngunit hindi ata alam nitong isang ito.

"Lina, kalma baka maguidance." Sabi ni Jace, habang si Ivy tumatawa sa tabi ni Lina na tinatapik yung balikat nito.

"Okay lang yan, Lina. At least napapansin ka ni krass." Sabi ni Ivy na tinawanan naming tatlo.

Tinignan niya kami ng masama. Nakasimangit siya na lumabas ng classroom habang sumusunod kami.

"Lina, okay lang yun. Babalik rin naman niya." Sabi ni Jace sa kanya. Sa aming tatlo si Jace at Lina ang close talaga, yung tipong tutulungan nila isa't isa sa mga gawain.

Una nga shinip namin sila pero mas magandang magkaibigan sila dahil ganun din ginagawa nila sa amin. Kumbaga sa grupo namin kahit na puwede kami magblend in sa iba, mas gugustuhin namin dito.

"Babalik niya nga kasi lukot lukot naman yung iba. Ganun yung ginawa niya sa may math natin eh."

"Kalma lang ano bang notes kinokopya niya?" Tanong ko.

"Yung kahapon na lecture dahil may quiz daw mamaya."

Right, pagkatapos ng recess last subject na namin which is Science. Magkagrupo pa naman itong dalawa at cleaners sila mamaya. Baka mag-away lang sila.

"Yan na yung notebook mo, binalik ko na." Inikutan siya ng mata ni Lina, siya naman ay napabuga ng hangin bago iiwas yung tingin.

He must have not noticed that I was watching him. I followed his eyes and saw that he was staring at her. A small smile appeared on his face before sitting beside her.

Pierre wouldn't smile especially to her. I might be dreaming. I sighed before going to my respective group and listened to our classmates chatter. The chatters died down when our teacher came.

I can't help but look at those two. I glance at them before seeing Pierre purposely hitting her elvow before casually ignoring her glare.

As the class ended we stayed in the classroom. We were looking for her because she and Pierre had to go to the biology lab.

We walked to the biology lab but we didn't find her. I looked around and saw a glimpse of Pierre dragging her wrist towards somewhere. Since I was a curious little friend.
