1) Break Up

The door swung open,entering the tiny cafe at the end of the street.

The sign clanged,on it written;

《DOTD》

"Welcome!"

A female voice sang,as the person before the counter settled himself in one of the seats,slumping back.

She disappeared for a moment,behind the kitchen while the customer took a good look at his surroundings.

It was a small space,with only the counter table available for seating.Simple and chic,the interior was decorated with empty bottles and led lights that created a cozy yet stunning ambience.

Soft music played in the background as the lights changed colour,dancing in the night.He was the only one there,the few seats next to him empty.

The warmth he felt brought about by the atmosphere was totally contrasting to himself.

Having a terrible day,he was depressed and gloomy.As if life was sucked out from his body,his eyes drooped,constant sighs escaping from his lips.

All he wanted to do was to let himself drown in the toxins of alcohol,forgetting that this day ever existed.

She reappeared,hands holding onto the menu,about to pass it to him.

He waved her off,rejecting the menu.

"Whatever is fine,just hand me a glass."

She stood still,not getting his order.Noticing it,he raised a brow in confusion as she held out the menu to him.

"I said whatever is fine.I'm not picky."

He repeated,a little louder to make sure she heard him.

Still,no reaction.

He looked at the girl,slightly annoyed at the poor customer service.Good thing he was feeling tired,if not he would have raised his voice.

About to repeat for the 2nd time,he opened his mouth wider but suddenly got cut off before any words formed.

"I'm sorry Sir,but we don't sell alcohol here.Perhaps you would like to take a look at the menu and order something else?"

Just his luck.Among all the places his feet could take him to,it brought him to a place that didn't sell the one thing he was looking for.

Could this day get any worse?

Heeseung's eyes shut for a brief moment,taking a deep breath to calm himself down from getting mad.He already wasted all his energy earlier in the day and did not want to drain himself further.

There wasn't any choices left,he could leave and find another bar but it'll be too tiring and troublesome.Perhaps he could give this place a second chance?

Snatching the menu out of her hands,he shot a glare before opening it up.

"I'll have..."

His voice trailed off,menu opened in his hands.He looked intently at the menu in a state of confusion.

His gaze went to her as she greeted him with a friendly smile.Then back to the menu,ten times more confused then before.
