"Ice cream!Ice cream!Come and get ice cream!"

An old lady shouted standing behind the little stall she set up in the crowded night streets.

Students who were hanging out after school were seen heading towards the stall, fishing out the little change they had left, buying the cheap but delicious ice cream.

There was a pair in particular that caught his eye as he walked along the streets.

Two high schoolers who were acting all lovey-dovey had bought an ice cream, sharing it together.

They giggled and laughed as they shared the ice cream, walking closely next to each other practically snuggling and cuddling.

Sunghoon stood there, watching them and their perfect relationship as they walked away, into the crowd of people.

"Would you like an ice cream too young man?"

The old lady asked him as the students dispersed, happily enjoying their ice cream.

He didn't say anything.Shaking his head as a reply before walking off hands in his pockets.

Why was he still here?

Just earlier,he was spending some time with his girl friend, shopping around the area and watching the buskers on the streets performing.

Yes,a friend that was a girl.He had a crush on her.It wasn't just a small crush,he had been crushing on her for almost two years now but he didn't make a move as he was afraid.

He didn't know what she will think if he confessed. He wasn't sure if she felt the same.Sure they were close and comfortable each other that they share their worries and even some physical contact like hugs. She even crashed at his place once.

He was with her during her highs and lows, and encouraged her always. She did the same, offering him support.

They shared their laughter and sorrows. Some of his friends even mistaken them as dating. When they heard they were just friends, they kept urging him to confess. But no matter how hard they tried to convince him,he just refused to.

"I'm glad I have a friend like you."

That was something she said to him before.Perhaps, that was why he didn't want to confess, she probably saw him only as a friend.

Today's hang out was just about the same as their previous ones.Until,

"I'm so nice.I practically buy your meal every time."

He said sarcastically while paying for their dinner.

"That's cause I'm your favourite and your my best friend."

Friend. All he could do was to fake a smile, when in reality, deep down in his heart he wished they could be something more.

She had already left shortly after their meal as she needed to head home.

Wanting to free his mind and relax a bit,he decided to further explore the area instead of heading home immediately.

Sunghoon strolled around, passing the night stalls that where set up,in the midst of the crowd, not stopping to buy or glance at anything.

His eyes was glued to the ground, still lost in his thoughts.Shoulders accidentally bumping to a few people here and there,he softly apologised but kept his eyes on the ground.

After a while of walking aimlessly,he realised that he didn't bump into anyone anymore and it seemed a lot quieter.

That's when he decided to look up.

Question marks filled his head as he stood in the middle of nowhere.

In front of him was a small cafe.He turned to look back on the street,an unfamiliar sight greeted him. There was no one around. The only sounds heard were most likely from the crickets or some insect.

Did he wondered off to far?How did he end up here?

All the shops on the streets were all closed or run down, except for the one before him.A strange place,a strange street.

He faced the cafe, trying to peek inside from the window.

A girl could be seen, wiping the counter. The seats inside where all empty, not a single customer.

He didn't noticed that he was staring a bit too long that she had been observing him.

"Hey there!Would you like to come in?"

Her cheerful voice startled him back to his senses. She now stood next to him who was before the window.

"Uh..."

His voice trailed off.He wanted to say no and just walk off but he felt as if something was preventing him to say it.

No

"Sure."

He found himself saying the total opposite, then following her inside the cafe.

"Welcome!"

She brimmed at him as she led him to a seat. There was another person at the counter, arranging the cups.

"Welcome!"

The other person said, before disappearing into the kitchen.

"Here's our menu."

She handed it to him.Reluctantly taking it,he smiled back trying to not seem rude.

Actually,he wanted to leave the place, not just the cafe but the whole street itself. He had no intentions of coming here and definitely was not in the mood to eat anything. However,he couldn't seem to do so.

He was doing the exact opposite of what he wanted to do.He felt as if his body had a mind of it's own, unable to control.

"Excuse me,do you perhaps know the way back to the main street?"

"Right up the street. It's quite a distance though."

A male voice answered instead.

Sunghoon's eyes widened at the owner of the voice.

"Fancy seeing you here."

Jake giggled at his best friend who was still shocked.

"Anyways, are you ready to order now or do you need more time?"

Make a guess what's going to be the final dessert. This one is easy.

Can't believe enha changed their hair colours. Will we get red hair Jake?ahhhhh
