8) Ice Cream

"I'll have whatever you recommend."

Sunghoon replied to Jake,handing back the menu which he never opened.

"The dessert of the day it is!Well,I mean it's the only dish we sell."

Jake went back to the kitchen to place his order.

Only dish they sell?

He looked around his surroundings and his eyes landed on the sign that wrote DOTD.

Dessert of the day,he guessed what it probably stand for.This place must really be so into that dish that they made it the cafes name as well as making it the only dish they sell.

Weird.Everything felt weird to him even though the place looked just like any other cafe that he usually went with her or when he went to study.There was something unexplainable about the place.

In the kitchen

"It's Sunghoon?"

Heeseung asked Jake as he returned back to the kitchen,which he hummed a reply.

"Actually,I had thought of inviting him over but I guess I didn't have to.He came here by himself."

Jay chuckled as he see him sitting outside the kitchen,looking restless and confused.

"Will you be hiring him as well?"

Heeseung asked her.She previously hired all three of them.

"Maybe."

"Isn't three enough?We barely have any customers,anyways.I feel like we spent more time playing and talking than working."

Jake said.

"Well I can kick you out and hire him instead if you think it's too many."

She joked,but that caused Jake to panic a little.

"You can't do that!"

"Shouldn't we get to work now?"

Jay stopped their little jokes since Sunghoon was still waiting outside.

She peered out of the window,looking at Sunghoon who was constantly squinting his eyes at his surroundings.

Heeseung wore his apron as Jake grabbed the tools and some ingredients out,ready to start preparing the dish.Jay washed his hands and stood next to the two of them as well.

"What will we be making today?"

Jake asked,hand grabbing the whisk.

"Ice cream."

"One ice cream coming up-"

He stopped midway,realising what she had just said.

"Ice cream?"

Jay questioned.There was no need to prepare for that.They just needed to use the ice cream machine.

"Yup.Ice cream."

The three of them looked at one another,confused at today's dessert of the day.

"Anything else?"

Heeseung asked,not convinced.

"Nope.Just ice cream."

She said with confidence,grabbing a cup and heading towards the ice cream machine.

Meanwhile,Sunghoon had been busy checking out the location of the place.He searched it on his phone but no results came out.A thousand pictures of desserts popped up the page when he tried searching the name of the place.
