Sana: Hot Chocolate

Another breeze of cold air made you shiver to the bone and prompted you to tighten the scarf around your neck. You heard a squeal from beside you before the hand that was clutching yours let go, and you watched how your girlfriend frantically put her hood back on.

"Stupid wind."

Sana murmured before grabbing your hand again, and you continued to walk through the snow. You occasionally glanced over to her, noticing how she took smaller steps by the second until you stopped and pulled her towards you.

"We're almost home, Baby. Here hold this; it's still warm."

You handed her one cup of hot chocolate that you were currently holding, and she nodded slightly; you almost thought you saw a little smile peeking out of her large hood. You poked her red nose with a wink and put your arm around her shoulders. Walking like this would surely slow you down, but you wanted to do everything to bring her at least a little bit of comfort. The rest of the short way was spent in quiet shivering accompanied by the crunching sound of footsteps.

When you finally reached your apartment, Sana rushed into the bedroom yelling a quick "Be right back" over her shoulders, leaving you chuckling to yourself while getting rid of your soaked shoes. You walked into the kitchen to reheat the now cold drinks your girlfriend begged you to buy, not before powering up the radiator when you felt a pair of hands snaking around your waist.

"Hey, Cutie."

You softly whispered and turned around in Sana's grip to wrap her up in a hug. She melted into your body, pushing herself impossibly closer, and pecked your neck before pressing her face into it. You stroked her back and basked in the warmth she always provided; to your body and heart. Nothing on this earth was able to beat this feeling of her being so close, your heartbeats in sync. The world around you could end right now, and you wouldn't have the strength to walk out of her embrace. Sana mumbled something, and you snapped out of your thoughts.

"What was that?"

"I said: I love you."

She lifted her head and looked into your eyes, making your heart jump into your throat. You turned around with a grin to take the mugs out of the microwave.

"Is that your way of saying sorry for dragging me out in the dead of winter to get hot chocolate we totally could have made ourselves?"

Sana weakly slapped your back in response.

"Hey, look at me. I love you." 

You looked over your shoulder to tease her a bit more but turned weak looking into her face, so you leaned in to press a short but sweet kiss on her lips.

"I'm just kidding; I love you too."

You whispered against her mouth, and she looped her arms around your neck to bring you closer for a passionate kiss one more time. She frowned when you pulled away, making you laugh.

"C'mon, let's watch a movie and cuddle properly."

You said while grabbing the mugs. Sana latched onto you like a koala, making you almost stumble over your feet, and you shook your head over your girlfriend's clinginess; not that you would ever really complain, though. You barely had time to climb under the covers in your bed when Sana draped herself over you like a second blanket. It was then that you realized she wore one of your hoodies, and you could feel your heart swell with the love it held for this girl.

"You're wearing my hoodie again."

"Our hoodie."

She answered, the sound a bit muffled because her face was yet again buried in your neck.

"Also, don't even try to act like you don't love seeing me wearing your clothes; I know you do."

"Touché."

You felt a soft kiss being pressed to your collarbone before Sana continued speaking, her voice a bit smaller this time.

"I'm sorry for making you go out with me in the cold. The idea of a walk in the snow and buying hot drinks looked more romantic in my mind."

The sound of guilt in her voice made you giggle, and you kissed her hairline.

"No need to apologize; it was a cute idea after all."

Sana beamed when she looked at you, sparkles shining in her eyes.

"At least I have a good excuse not to let go of you the entire evening now because you are so warm!" She giggled and pressed herself onto you again, her breath tickling your neck. A comfortable silence fell over the both of you; you continued watching a random drama Sana wanted to see for days, all the while holding each other as close as you could. You felt her breath becoming more steady while you stroked her hair, and before the movie ended, she was fast asleep. After turning off the TV, you tried to move her a bit so you could stretch your arms, but she tightened her grip, a whine coming from her lips.

"Baby, what happened to your pillow?" She lifted her head and looked at you with a yawn before making herself comfortable on your chest again.

"What are you talking about? You are my pillow."
