Lisa: My hero

you sat in bed, reading to yourself as Lisa scrolled on her phone. it was a typical night in for the two of you. it felt...domestic. you couldn't help but glance down from your position against the headboard and watch Lisa mindlessly swiping through videos. she looked up then, a shy smile tilting onto her face when she realized you were watching him.

"what?" she asked, trying not to grin. you shook your head.

"what?"

"you were the one staring at me." she rolled his eyes, poking the knee closest to her. when you flinched, she frowned. your eyes widened as she started pulling at the covers over your legs.

"ah—it's nothing!" you tried to get ahead of it but Lisa was gaping at your legs, exposed in the shorts you typically wore to bed.

"y/n! are those—? are those bruises?" she knew very well they were. you had about three of them. two were on your left leg, on your upper thigh. the third was just to the right of your kneecap, on your right leg. that was the bruise Lisa had unknowingly poked.

"yes, but it's fine." you shook your head. Lisa was running a thumb over them, which felt much more intimate than you could have anticipated.

"what happened?" she asked.

"i think it's happening in my sleep. maybe i'm hitting my legs on the nightstand? I just kind of wake up with them." you blushed. Lisa scrunched her eyebrows, looking cute and concerned.

"jagiya, you should have said something." she shook her head.

"what, so you could hold my legs down all night?" you joked. your chuckled turned into a gasp when your book was pulled from your hands and flung to the foot of the bed.

"you know I'll always protect you! even in your sleep!" Lisa pulled you down, ignoring your noise of protest.she wrapped her arms around you. her legs went around your own, effectively rendering you immobile. you wanted to be annoyed, but instead found yourself face-to-face with Lisa, staring at her with a warm feeling simmering in your chest. both of you were giggling. "ah, you're safe with me now." she said fondly, rubbing her nose against yours. you rolled your eyes.

"my hero." you reached up to pinch her cheek.

the thing is, you meant it.
