When Byulyi said she knew someplace to unwind, Hyejin definitely didn't expect to be brought to a strip club.

As mafia employees, Hyejin and Byulyi frequent enough shady places as it is, though this particular strip club looks particularly dangerous. Even with the cold metal of the gun digging into her skin under the waistband of her pants, Hyejin can't help eyeing the burly bouncers everywhere warily.

Byulyi brushes the back of her hand against her colleague's, giving the younger woman a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, I know people who work here. It's safe."

"It doesn't look safe."

"You're pretty easily scared for a mafia employee, you know," Byulyi teases, passing through the open doors with a simple nod at a bouncer.

Hyejin rolls her eyes to disguise how impressed she is at Byulyi's influence. The older woman is, of course, more influential than she is, but it's still decently interesting how many connections she has. "I'm not scared."

The inside of the club looks even shadier than the outside; despite the scantily clothed girls mopping the counters, the bar is covered in grime, as are the scarred men who sit there. 2 of the 5 small stages are occupied, though one of the girls is already picking up the money on the floor.

Byulyi immediately beelines for the bar, which isn't exactly surprising. "Wheein, hey."

A pretty brunette girl with dimples looks up and smiles, ignoring the men hanging on to her every word. "Byul! Good to see you're not dead. And you are?"

Eyebrows raised, Hyejin looks at her colleague for an explanation. "She used to be in... our business. You know. Wheein, this is Hyejin." Turning back to the petite girl behind the counter, Byulyi asks, "Is Solar off yet?"

Wheein tilts her head towards the stage. "Almost. Y/N's preparing to start, though, so you should stay."

"Y/N?" Hyejin feels completely lost, though it's not unusual for her to feel that way, as the newest member of the mafia she works for. She's used to it by now.

The girl behind the bar smiles again, pointing to one of the stages. "Over there, the girl in the sparkly outfit? She's our most popular, for a reason."

"Y/N's beautiful," Byulyi agrees, leaning against the counter. "Do you want to stay and watch, Hyejin?"

Despite the loud pounding in her head telling her that she should say no, that being in this club is definitely dangerous, Hyejin shrugs and accepts the drink Wheein holds out. "Sure. I'll stay."

With a grin, the older woman waves to Wheein and grabs Hyejin by the arm. "Good choice. You won't regret it, I swear."

As the two of them near the stage, Hyejin's breath catches in her throat at the sight of you. The sparkling, skin-tight outfit you wear and smoky makeup make you look absolutely ethereal, your skin shimmering golden from every angle. As Byulyi guides her to sit, Hyejin's eyes are glued to your face, trying to take in every detail of yours.

When you start to dance, she's completely starstruck, not just by your movements, but by the occasional smiles you throw to the crowd gathered to watch you. Each quirk of your lips, each tiny flick of your tongue, makes everyone go wild, including her.

Your 30 minutes ends too fast, and Hyejin finds herself wanting to keep watching you even as you wave and blow kisses to the crowd, hands stuffed with money. "Come on, let's go backstage," Byulyi sighs, tugging Hyejin up. "I have a... special relationship with one of the dancers."

It turns out to be a very special relationship, as a gorgeous dyed-blonde girl immediately pecks Byulyi on the lips as soon as she makes her way backstage. Hyejin fights a smile at her older colleague's blush. " Hyejin, this is Solar."
