A tall pile of paperwork kept you covered from coworkers' curious eyes.

It's been only a few days since you started working at your father's company, yet you already knew you weren't welcome there. Jealous stares and whispers behind your back were a part of your new routine.

Normally, it was a long process to take up a job in one of the biggest corporations on the continent.

You got it right away and that's why people didn't like you.

They thought of you as a spoiled daddy's little girl, when in reality you did graduate from university with amazing grades.

If it wasn't for your dad being a CEO, you probably wouldn't have any chances to start your career in a such big company. Nevertheless, you felt confident with your abilities, as working for your father was something you've been preparing to do since you can remember.

And it wasn't like you had a choice.

Sighing, you got up from your sit, after long hours of calculating. The clock on your phone said it was almost 8 PM, time to finish your shift and go home.

Heading alone through almost empty streets of your home city, made you reflect on how this place has changed in the last few years. From your childhood memories, you remember it as a sunny and calm zone, friendly to everyone. Now it was the exact opposite, as the mafia grew stronger earning lots of power in the city. It felt dangerous to move around at night.

You never knew, where and when another conflict or shooting would strike.

Although, you kind of got used to it. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to normally function and you wanted to live. Even if you had no real control over your life and were always dependent on your parents' decisions, you wanted to experience as much as you could.

Fastening your pace, you tried your best not to think too much about how obnoxious your current surrounding was.Back of an old store in a dark alley, fog around making everything seem even more scary.

"Hey there, Baby Doll." You jumped at a sudden, raspy voice.

A young, well-built man with platinum hair appeared from behind the corner. Eyeing you shamelessly from head to toe, he slowly walked closer, causing you to take a step back. Your stomach dropped, noticing his black leather jacket with a scorpion printed on left chest.

He was a mafia member.

Your heart stopped, as he kept approaching you. You had nothing to defend yourself with and certainly no chance to win against a way stronger male.

"Wanna have some fun tonight?" He whispered into your ear, once your back hit the brick wall.

There was no escape.

"Please, leave me alone." You felt your body shaking in fear at his breath hitting your lips.

Closing your eyes in disgust at the feeling of his fingers touching your cheek. Strong scent of cigarettes and alcohol hit your nose trills, making you want to throw up.

You were praying that someone, anyone was there to save you.

"Oh baby, don't be so stiff. You'll like it, I promise." You shuddered at his low tone, tears filling your eyes, as you glanced at the night sky.

You really were helpless.

"She said no."

Both your heads snapped in direction of a stern voice. Your eyes widened seeing your old friend from middle school.

Nicha Yontararak.

Dark hair and bangs were framing her serious face. Big brown eyes focused on the man, holding you. Her aura was enough for you to feel relieved.
