You could see the stress wearing down on your girlfriend. The way she only grunted in response to your questions, locked herself in the studio for longer amounts of time and ignored your messages or replied with one word responses. 

You wanted so badly for her to take a break but you knew that you couldn't distract her from it, because the members and the fans were counting on her to get it done. 

So you did what you could. You cleaned the house, made the bed, cooked him meals. You went to run errands by yourself and took out the trash. Anything you could to make her life easier. Sure, it was a little frustrating at times that you did everything, but you knew what you were getting yourself into when you dated an idol.

The day she told you he was almost done, you decided to cook your favorite dishes to celebrate. You set up the whole thing, cooked all of the food and moved it all onto the table on the porch so you could eat under the stars. You thought he could use some fresh air after being locked up for so long, plus the weather was nice. 

It was getting late when Jihyo finally emerged from her studio. she looked around in confusion, wondering where you were. She had heard a lot of clattering and moving back and forth so she knew that you were somewhere in the house. 

She wandered down the hallway and noticed the light coming from the back porch. Jihyo slid the glass door open and stepped out just as you were setting down the wine.

"Oh! There you are." You smiled. "Take a seat, I made you galbi." You set out a glass and noticed that Jihyo hadn't moved. You looked up and furrowed your brows, she was staring blankly at the ground. The more you looked at her, the more you realized her eyes were watering. "Jihyo what's the matter??"

Jihyo started actually crying, something you'd never seen her do before. You took her hand and sat her down, waiting for her to calm down and tell you what the issue was.

 After a while she took a shaky breath and looked up at you. "I just don't deserve this. I disappear into my studio. And instead of getting mad at me or leaving and finding someone better, you do all the chores. You clean the house and take care of everything. You cook me meals and make sure that I'm getting my rest. Then you do this to celebrate.. I just want to know what I did to deserve this." Jihyo looked down and cried into her hand. You pulled her head to your chest and hugged her, letting her let out all of her feelings.

"I do it because I love you Jihyo. I know you get busy, but I understand that you are working hard to not let your fans down. I could never go looking for someone else when you are everything I could want. I'm not going to leave you. Not now, not ever."

After the tears finally stopped, Jihyo looked up at you and pressed her forehead to yours.

"You don't know how much you mean to me.
