Chapter 10

"Ah! I can't sleep!"

Lily said while coming out of her room. Jungkook who was sitting on the mattress at the living room and watching television, looked at her,"Woah, you also have trouble sleeping? You always sleep like a baby."

"I know, I wonder why I can't sleep tonight,"Lily said and came to sit down beside Jungkook.

Lily sighed after sitting down,"It isn't like I'm not tired, we had a pretty long day, right?"

Jungkook sighed this time as he had flashbacks to the earlier time of this evening where they burned down a house with their target inside it,"Yeah, a pretty long day indeed."

Lily shook her head,"Then why can't I sleep?"

Jungkook shrugged,"Do you wanna watch the movie I'm watching then?"

Jungkook pointed at the horror movie that was playing on the old beaten down television Lily has.

"I guess?"Lily said as she turned to the television,"Gosh, how long has it been since I watched a movie or..anything on television in general?"

Jungkook has never seen Lily even touch the remote of this tv. Good thing he is here now and has taken it upon himself to use the tv so it doesn't actually stop working. It is also a great source of entertainment for him especially when Lily falls asleep and he has nothing to do. Lily doesn't seem to mind him using the tv or anything in this house actually.

That's how the past month has been. Lily and Jungkook stay together, go on missions together, eat dinner together, bicker, Jungkook sometimes tries to stop Lily from her shenanigans but fails. The days aren't going too bad. Jungkook's powers are increasing everyday. And he doesn't mind spending time with Lily.

Thanks to his constant nagging a lot of changes has been made in the house. For starters a dining table has been added to the house. And a few racks have been added to the kitchen to store food. Food doesn't run out, Jungkook forces her to get groceries every week. Things are really not going too bad. Jungkook feels like he understands Lily a bit more after what Seokjin said about Lily last time. But Jungkook still knows Seokjin is hiding a lot from him about this whole situation. Especially about the fact that 'they are bound together'. What does that even mean?

Jungkook hasn't talked to Lily about her father again. Lily also hasn't brought it up again.

"I swear to God the picture quality of this tv is so damn bad,"Lily complained for the nth time within the first thirty minutes of her starting to watch the movie,"How do you even watch this crap?"

"Well..I don't have another entertainment source now, do I?"

Turns out Lily was just horrible while watching movies. She wouldn't stop complaining about the picture quality of the tv she herself never used or got fixed, laughed out loud during bone chilling scenes, cursed at every character of the movie including the ghost, asked Jungkook stupid questions about the movie while he was trying to concentrate. Jungkook totally knew she was doing all that to annoy him so he tried to ignore him the best he could.

"In the horror movies there's always this one bitch that goes 'hello? Anyone there?' after hearing a damn sound in an empty house? Like why? Do you wanna die?"Lily asked while munching on the chips the brought from the kitchen.

Jungkook still ignored her. He knows if he ignores her for long enough she would eventually stop.

"Oh oh..that ghost is chasing her? Wait and see that she is gonna trip and fall right now.."Before she could finish, the girl actually tripped and fell while the entity was chasing after her,"See?"Lily yelled in victory.
