Lily's father slowly opened his eyes.

It took him a little time to get adjusted to the lights. He felt weak and nauseous. He could not remember what happened before he passed out. All he could feel was pain on his left arm...well lack there of now.

When he completely opened his eyes he came face to face with his daughter who was hunched over in front of his face with a smirk on her face,"Had a good time sleeping, father?"

He immediately remembered all that happened before he passed out. Lin brought her here, thinking she would make a bond with him. So he ripped off his left wrist. Then she betrayed him and the boy she brought with him stabbed him to death.

Oh Lin!

That was stupid.

He never took Lin to be so stupid in their entire time of being together and that was decades. Lin claimed that he had observed him for quite a while and then approached him in his one roof apartment. He was just a construction worker then. He was really shocked by Lin appearing in front of him out of thin air, claiming to be a devil, claiming to wanting to be his partner and promising that he would never have to fear of police or anything in the afterlife. Lin also stated that he had seen him commit his last three murders and the look in his eyes made Lin immediately want to make a bond with him. And Lily's dad did. They made a bond and the rest was history.

So many things they did together! Well, mainly he did while Lin enabled him to do all of that and gained power from him sins.

To see his lifeless body lying on the other side of the room like that....was unfortunate. Such a foolish move on Lin's part. He had always Lin's 'fondness' towards his daughter. He always thought Lin saw what he saw in her. His daughter would live up to his name. Because she was just as psychotic as he was. But he was unaware of how deep Lin's obsession towards his daughter were. That was the great Lin's downfall. Lin was no more. That fact made him feel a little empty on the inside.

"Are you sad that your dear partner is gone?"Lily asked, mocking sadness,"Are you sad that you're going to be all alone burning in the deepest darkest corner of hell?"

Was he afraid of that? Yes.

He was born in a strictly religious household where the concept of hell and heaven were embedded deep into his mind. His mother and father were afraid of hell and did everything to make him afraid of it too. And it worked. He was scared of hell.

But fear doesn't stop a monster. He believed that he was a living proof of monsters aren't created, they're born. His parents were good citizens, normal people. Nothing about them was extraordinary. But he wasn't. He had no intention of being a good person. He hated his goody two shoes parents that didn't understand his innate feelings committing crime, wreck havoc, ruin others. That's why he was all the more excited when Lin gave him his hand after growing up. At least he won't have to worry about going to hell and police after committing all crimes he has ever wanted.

During childhood parents tired to hard to 'fix' him when they found him experimenting killing living animals as a preteen. They weren't rich, but they tried everything. Doctors, priests, shamans...and so much more. That just made him angry. In the end, they couldn't fix him. Their fate was getting murdered in the hands of their own son. He remembers that those were his first ever murder. He barely remembers the face of his parents but he remembers the fear in their eyes towards their own son. They couldn't stop him. Oh the thrill he got from that!

It was their fault for giving birth to a monster and loving a monster.

He never thinks about them. Why is he thinking about them now? Is being so close to death making him come back to his roots?
