Love, if I were to show you two people who were absolutely and unconditionally in love with one another, there would only be four people who could fit that persona so perfectly, that the word itself would bow down in awe. But love comes in different forms, has different meanings, most of all they don't all feel the same.

Guy and Connie, they were the type of love that you see in movies, the type were you always knew that they'll end up together in the end, not even heaven and earth could put a stop to the connection that drove them closer. They loved each other, just as equally and balanced. They trust and adore one another like they adore the feelings that erupt inside them when one of them would walk into a room.

Adam and Alexis, they were the type of love that you'd always second guess, the ones that always end up in someone cheating. Although their love is strong, it's their minds that push them further and further away. It's the thoughts that drag them down and tug at the feeling that spur and spin around them until they completely vanish. Yet somehow they have a much stronger love than Guy and Connie, because in the little time they have spent together it feels as if that they know each other inside and out and each feeling not only reaches the surfaces but rocks every vein, every vessel, every bone, everything in their bodies start to ache with love and care because that's how strong it truely is, to the point it is absolutely bone breaking.

Guy and Connie love each other to the surface, Adam and Alexis love each other to the core.

Both found within love but both have totally different meanings.

Alexis Standson sat on the bench. Cheering on her team, ignoring the staring boy beside her as she clapped her hands slowly. The sound slowly easing out from her ears as she placed them onto her lap.

"Alexis I—" Adam leans in closer to the brunette. Her scent flourished of peonies, it spirals his senses and coiled his mind in the most wonderful thoughts, all thoughts conducted of her. And thoughts of her. Before he could even confess to himself coach but a stopper to his sentence.

—"Adam, on the ice." Gordon patted Adams shoulder slowly. The rolled up paper in his hand starting to crinkle, watching the team out ahead of him. "I promise I'll tell you later." Adam reassures with a tight sealed smile. Alexis pulls a forced grin onto her lips. Still unsure if she could really trust him or not.

The ref smacks the puck against the rink as flares of shaved splattered onto their helmets. Jesse was quick to react as he pushed his shoulder against his opponent, nudging harder when he'd push back, until he fell. He looked for his team, dribbling it out towards them before passing it out. Jesse leads the way behind Goldberg. Looking out from the goal he looks at Charlie with tired eyes.

"Jesse, just do it man!" Goldberg encouraged. "Alright let's go, flying 'v'." Jesse raises his hands up in the air, the shape in a an obvious v as the team starts in formation.

—"they start back out and they form a "v". I've heard of this before but I've never seen it. It's the flying "v" led by Jesse Hall."

The team rises to their feet as they start cheering for their teammates. The sounds repeated across the audience as the 5 boys cross the rink.

—"Hall up to the centre ice. Hall with it towards the Germany blue line." Jesse dribbles the puck carefully. The enforcers of the Germany team skate close to U.S.A. With their shoulders tucked in ready to bounce them off as they had done previously. But to their surprise, they didn't even have the time to make a single move, as Jesse had already shot a goal through the posts and to the back of the net.

The blare clarifies their win and U.S.A. Starts beaming. Alexis couldn't help but cheer and laugh with her friends as she ran into Dwayne's arms happily. As the two friends start dancing in circle and flinging their arms in the air.

Adam. Who was watching the duo stood still. Of course he was proud of the now famous five but watching how Dwayne wrapped his arm around her waist, his fingers digging into the side of her skin. And his figure towering over hers as their face closenesses. Of course this didn't actually happen, all they did was a simple hug and cheer. But to Adam, Dwayne was all over her. It's as if he had enhanced every little detail and marked it out. Trying to find ways to hate Alexis as much as she hated him in that moment.

Alexis didn't hate, she just. Strongly disliked him.

Wolf Stansson who had been searing in the stands shook his head slowly, pursing his lips closed as he nodded for the blonde trainer and him to leave. He loved seeing his daughter play. It made him proud even if he wasn't the one to teach her the skills she has been blessed with today.

The main reason why Wolf was mad was because Gordon Bombay had taken the thing he loved most and claimed it his. Wolf wasn't the one who taught her how to do those tricks it was Gordon. It wasn't he who got to see her play in triumph it was Gordon. Bombay hadn't paid much attention Alexis as much as the others but he still cherished her closely, he thought her skills and form was impeccable. Coach Bombay never wanted to hurt wolf intentionally. Especially not through his daughter.

The team sat on the park benches in front of their hotel, a tin barrow sat in front of them as they watched a cardboard cut out of Coach Bombay stand beside Gordon himself. The sight was obviously funny to the teens but what shut them up was when he had crumpled it up.

"I've had a lot of big distractions since I've been here in L.A. This is a distraction." Gordon crushes it between his hands as he shoves it into the barrel. "This is fire in the barrel." He displays as he lights the match. Jan handed him the cutout with a proud smile on his aged face.

—"this is a distraction in a fire in a barrel. Any questions." The board start to stink further into the blue barrel, small embers lit without the air as it spiralled around with the slight wind.

Everyone clapped their hands. The noise comfort to the coaches ears as he nods firmly towards the teenagers.

"Hey, Alexis. Can I talk to you?"
