I heard that you're settled down.
That you found a girl.
And you're married now.
This is all you every dreamed of, didn't you?

I knew I couldn't give you what you needed.
And I'm sorry for what I couldn't give you.
But our love, it was the realest thing to me, darling.

So it took me by surprise when you invited me over. I knew, I disagreed to meet up. But then I felt the urge to, so I'm sorry for turning up uninvited.
Once again, I knocked on the academy's door.
I haven't heard from you in forever, but you never left my mind.
And when you opened that door, you let me in again. Back into the coven. Back into your life.
Even if we shared it just for a day.

And I saw how open you got with your surrounding, how perfect you fit into a higher position.
Supreme now, I am fascinated.
But when you opened that door, why were you so shy?
You have no reason to be so shy around me.
I'm just so happy to see your face, I had to.
And the moment I saw you, I knew that for me, it isn't over.
I told myself 6 years now: 'Nevermind, I'll find someone like you.'
And Cordelia, I wish nothing but the best for you too...
But please Cordelia, dont forget me. I'm begging you.

You know how the time flies and only yesterday was the time of our lives, but I see how happy you are now. With Misty. And that is all I wish for you.
And I'm writing this letter to you now, to say what I couldn't say when we saw each other just one week ago.

Because I know that you felt it too.
So did I.
You felt my pain.

Who would have known how bittersweet this would taste?

I hope this isn't catching you off guard completely, but in order for me to let go, I had to write my thoughts out for you, my love.

And I just now remembered how you once told me:
'Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead'.

Best wishes for you and Misty, don't forget me please.
