" It's a pleasure to meet you ma'am" Steve shook the hand of a beautiful woman, with beautiful black hair piled high into a tight bun, tattoos all over her body and her red lips forming a mischievous smirk.

" The pleasure's all mine captain." she replied, her voice low and sultry. She eyed him up and down flirtatiously, making him turn red.

She winked at him and headed to Natasha, pulling her in for a hug.

" Hey Arrow, how have you been?" Natasha asked her, smiling.

" I'm fine Nat, there's always something going on, but it's Delhi, what do you expect?" Arrow chuckled, " So, I hear you need information on the Tesseract? What do you need?"

Nat led her into the conference room, followed by Bucky, Steve and Tony.

" Well, It's best to start at the beginning." Tony began, " A few weeks ago, we sent Loki and Y/n on a mission to retrieve the Tesseract, which was and still is in a secure Hydra-

" Wait a minute, wait a minute, you mean to tell me, you sent Y/n to a Hydra base?" Arrow interrupted, her eyes glinting.

" Y-yes, we understand that it was a bad decision-"

" A bad decision?! The poor girl still has nightmares from that place, and you decide to send her there, are you dumb? What else should I expect from a big blonde colonizer?"

Stifling a laugh, Nat started, " We know it was a dumb decision, and we've paid the price for it, Loki and Y/n are missing."

" What?" Arrow began, her voice dangerously low.

" Yes, and the only thing we know, is that they touched this blue smoke and disappeared."

" Wait, blue smoke? oh god." Arrow groaned, hitting her forehead.

" What? Why that reaction?" Bucky stood up, eyes wide.

" Sit down Soldier, I'll tell all. But we might need a certain 'strange' doctor here."

" Today's a festival?" Loki asked Anika.

" Yup! Today Kerch celebrates the birth of Ghezen, the god of commerce and trade, the town is going to be decorated and for once, Ketterdam is not going to be so gloomy." she replied cheerfully, heading out the door.

" Can we go?" you asked Jesper who was cleaning his guns.

" We are going to go, you need to be there! Pro tip- wear something flowing, there's going to be dancing." he replied.

You suddenly find a pretty flowing dress on your lap, and when you look at Loki, he's whistling nonchalantly and looking away.

You hugged him, " Thanks Lokes."

Kissing your head he smiled, " You're welcome Y/n/n."

From the other side of the room, Kaz looked ready to murder someone.

" What's wrong boss, you okay?" Pim asked him, immediately regretting his decision when Kaz glares at him.

"Sorry Boss." he scurries out the door.

" Someone's jealous." Inej's teasing voice reached his ears, he could practically hear the grin on her face.

" Shut up Wraith." Kaz growled.

" We're going to the festival, you should come, have fun for once in your life. Oh wait sorry I forgot." she deepened her voice and mockingly glared at him, " I'm Kaz Brekker, Dirtyhands, Bastard of the Barrel, I don't laugh and fun is overrated."

Kaz rolled his eyes and left, leaving Inej to giggle behind him.

The city was decorated beautifully, with lanterns and banners of different colours. Real kruge was also used to decorate some places, and musicians from West Stave and around were gathering and warming up.

All of you were headed to the town square. You were hand in hand with Nina and Inej, they were pointing at various buildings and discreetly trying to steer you towards Kaz.

Wylan, Jesper and Loki were together, hand in hand, and they were looking around, while Matthias was staring, speechless at how nice Ketterdam looked for once.

Kaz was having a blast, pickpocketing wealthy tourists, and desperately trying not to look at you every five seconds.

As you reached the square, a group of kids pulled you and Nina with them. Nina grabbed Matthias, and they started dancing around you. Another group of performers joined in, while the musicians started playing a lively tune, everyone dancing in circles, forming partners and going from one to another, everyone laughing and having a good time.

From the side, Jes, Wylan, Inej and Loki were whooping and laughing, while Kaz stared at you, eyebrows up, pupils wide, mouth agape.

In the setting sun, you looked so beautiful. The light bouncing of your dress and hair, while you were twirling Nina and dipping Matthias.

Kaz tore his eyes from you when he saw how the rest of his crows smirked at him.

" Does Kazzy have a crush?" Jesper teased

" Jesper, shut up before I whack you with my cane."

Jesper shut up, but he didn't miss how Kaz's cheeks turned red.

The music stopped, and everyone started clapping, sweaty and out of breath.

You walked back and went straight to your best friend, resting your head on his chest, breathing hard.

" Water?" Loki offered.

" Yes please."

Loki looked at Kaz, giving him a look that meant ' this is your chance bro'

Kaz immediately went to a stall and bought some water, heading to you and tapping you feet with his cane, making you look at him.

"Water." he said, handing you the glass.

" Oh my god, thank you so much Kaz, you're amazing!" you took the glass from him and drank it all in one go.

Inej and Jesper were stifling their laughs at how flustered Kaz looked when you spoke to him.

They were going to have so much fun.
