"I'm so fucking hungover."

"Yeah," Dream exasperated. "Maybe if you didn't drink like the world was going to end you'd be fine!"

"Maybe if you actually drank instead of sucking your boyfriend's face off 'like the world was going to end' you wouldn't be such a cunt!"

"Excuse you, he's not my boyfriend—"

"You'll never get yourself out of this one now, Clay," Lilith teased. "I saw you kiss George senseless in that hallway way before midnight."

"Oh you bitch—"

"Guys!" Lilith stopped speaking as Alex joined the call. "Get on the smp now; what are you doing?! Karl already has—"

"No!" Lilith and Clay simultaneously shouted.

"Alright it's fine, fuck me I guess," he dramatically sighed before he ended the discord call. Lilith burst out laughing and Dream organized the lobby a little early. Her heart fluttered at the distant warped memories of New Year's Eve night in Los Angeles with her closest friends. Perhaps she spent more time with Brooke, Poki and Rae rather than Dream, but he clearly was busy with someone else. Who could blame him? He dreamed of meeting his best friend for years now.

"Are you gonna stream now?"

"In a second, why?" Lilith took a quick breath to gather her thoughts, but panic rose.

"I was just going to say thanks for putting this together," she settled to say.

"Yeah," Dream laughed. Then Lilith left his call.

"Hello everyone!" Lilith greeted loudly. "Wait can you guys hear me?" Within a few second the comments flooded in. "Perfect. We're playing Among Us today! With Dream, Karl, Poki, Corpse, Rae... fuck I forgot—I'm just so excited! Especially since I'll be meeting a lot of them for the first time."

After a few minutes of speaking to her chat, Lilith joined the main discord call that Dream invited her to.

"Hi Lilith!" Poki greeted.

Fuck.

Lilith's stomach dropped as she saw the names in this call.

For some reason she forgot how to speak. Why were they all there so early? Then when she finally snapped back to reality, she heard a snippet of their conversation.

"The Valo lobby just ended early so we headed over," Rae replied to Karl.

"Hey," Lilith quietly replied to Poki. If she stuck with Poki, it would get gradually easier she decided.
