Lilith woke up suddenly from the sound of a blaring car horn. Her neck zapped with pain and she moaned as she tried to sit up but it was far too difficult at her angle. Sunlight poured in the room and she widened her eyes when she realized she wasn't in her bed.

Dream slept under her with his arms strung around her waist securely.

There would be no escaping without waking him up and she didn't want to do that. She laid back down on him and listened to his slow heart beat. He was comfortable, she decided, and thought it was weird that she came to a conclusion she already came to years ago. It had be countless times that she had found herself in this position with him, what made this time any different?

Her wide green eyes looked up through the frosted window. She didn't anticipate it to be that cold out. Considering it was still early morning—most likely—the morning winter frost had yet to melt. She woke up hours after the intensity of the daylight.

"Hi," he said. She looked to him. His eyes were wide and he looked refreshed, dare she say. They did stay up late and after a long drive she expected him to still be tired.

"Hi," she replied.

And they laid there in silence for a little while. Lilith didn't notice his eyes watching her face as she stared out the window and to the slowly waking city below. Or maybe she didn't want to acknowledge him lest the moment end.

Then the moment came to a screeching halt. The halt being the sound of a discord notification on his phone. Before she could even register what happened, he pulled his phone out and he laid at an angle where she couldn't see the screen. With a sigh, she sat up and tumbled off the couch. Her feet were twisted in the blanket so when she went to catch herself, she tangled and gasped before she fell to the floor. At least she heard him gasp and flinch to catch her but he was too far away.

"Oh my god," Dream laughed. "What the hell are you doing?"

"Trying to get my phone!" She cried defensively. Once she stood up, she looked at him and he smiled up at her. She rolled her eyes when she noticed how he lifted her phone up to her. It was on the couch all along. "Thanks," she snapped and turned around quickly.

Dream went back to texting the one person she could only imagine him texting at eight am.

Lilith went straight to the kitchen and began an espresso pod for her coffee. She was too tired to handle these type of weird emotions that she didn't quite understand. Caffeine could fix everything she decided; it worked for the past ten years so it should work now. After mixing the coffee nicely with the milk, she walked to her streaming room and spun into her chair. Soft socks covered her feet that were propped on the edge of the chair, and a knit blanket hugged her body. The coffee coated her dry throat and she felt, for a second, comforted.

Then she noticed that Tina was in the "No live" discord chat by herself.

"Hello!" She sang as she inserted herself into the discord call.

"Beloved! Hello! What are you up to this morning?"

"Nothing much, having coffee."

"Oh what kind, what kind?"

"Just a latte I made here."

"Can't go wrong with homemade coffee," Tina replied and Lilith smiled at her cute tone.
