Hydras's Best Assassin

Part 3

After the whole you almost bleeding out from escaping and this random guy helping you after kidnapping you, you've been sat on the sofa as he's been on the phone in the kitchen. Your a little light headed from blood loss so you haven't been able to focus on his conversation. After some time he hangs up bringing a glass of water for you and sits on the coffee table in front of you.

"Okay I get this is a little scary you don't know me and I don't know you, but now that your calm do you think you can answer a couple questions" he says.

"Your an avenger, a bad guy, I don't answer to people like you" you say. He looks at you confused for a second then figuring out the situation.

"You work for hydra, don't you?" He says. All you do is nod.

"I used to work for hydra as well, I got out thanks to my friend Steve. Hydra's a bad place and I know it seems like they aren't but they are. Ever heard of the Winter Soldier." he ask.

"The one who left. The one who left us to join the avengers." you say

"The one who escaped. The one who choose good over bad." He says. You just look towards the door shaking your head. You knew he was probably telling the truth but you didn't know what to think because of Rumlow. You weren't together with Rumlow but he was your mentor he took care of you when you needed it. And he always said the avengers where bad but you don't know who's lying. Was it someone you've known for a long time? Or someone you've just met making accusations?

"What's your name" he ask.

"Y/n" you say.

"James, but you can call me Bucky" he says. A phone starts ringing and y'all look over at the counter and he looks at you getting up and walking over. He looks back at you holding your phone and goes to hand it to you but he snatches it away. "Speaker" he says. You nod and he hands you the phone and you answer seeing it's Rumlow.

"Hello" you say.

"Jesus Christ you can scare a person" he says.

"Yea I uh there was an explosion and..." Bucky starts shaking his head and you take a deep breath. "I went to look for help and I got lost I don't know.

"Are you okay you hurt" he says

"A cut on my leg is all but it's fine this..." Bucky shakes his head. "This place had a med kit and I fixed it" you say.

"Hey if you can get in a car and go to that safe house in Washington, the one where we staked out at for 2 weeks. I'll be waiting for you there okay and do what your supposed to do okay I'll see you soon" he says.

"Okay" you say hanging up. Bucky looks at you confused and worried till you crush your phone in your hand.

" HEY HEY why did you do that" he says.

"Cause I'm supposed to that's why" you say. He just looks at you then sits back down in front of you.

"Who was that" he says.

"My Mentor Brock he called me while the explosion happened" you say.

"Wait are you talking about Brock Rumlow" he says.

"No" you say.

"You sure" he says.

"Uhm...yea" you say.

"Tell me the truth" he says.

"Believe what you want I don't care but I'm leaving and your not stopping me" you say.

"Your coming back with me to the avengers tower end of discussion" he says.

"Like hell I am" you say. He gets up walking over to the kitchen looking for something. You get up without him knowing grabbing a candle holder knocking him out. As he falls to the floor you hear something outside and walk towards the door seeing a guy getting out a car. He looks about the same height as Bucky and physically fit so you know with your leg you wouldn't be able to take him. He leaves the door to the car open and you start getting and idea, then he knocks on the door.

"Bucky it's Rogers open up" he says.

You grab your jacket and grab a phone and the guy knocks again. You look around grabbing some food and water putting it in a bag and the guys knocks again. You open the back window nearing out and the guy kicks the door in not seeing you.

Steve's POV

I walk in the house not seeing anyone and I start looking around. I see Bucky down on the floor unconscious and I run over to him making sure he's okay. He was breathing which was a good thing so I left him there to search the rest of the house. I look in the back room and there's blood on the bed and I'm guessing it's the girl's that Bucky said he saved. I hear a loud bang come from outside and go to the window seeing the car drive away and I know it was her leaving. I go back to Bucky trying to wake him up and he does.

"Steve?" He says.

"Yea it's me I came to see who your friend was but she took my car" I say.

"Yea she hit me in the back of my head to...she's going to Washington" he says.

"Okay we can look for her but let's get you back to the compound and checked out alright. Where did you leave the jet we can leave now so we can look for her after we get you looked at" I say.

"In the back hidden in the trees" he says. I help him up and he gathers his bag and stuff and we head outside going to the jet and leaving. It was weird leaving cause it was a long dirt road below us but I didn't see the car I took. Who ever he saved is long gone and is no where to be found.
