Part 43

Your POV

You start waking up feeling sore all over. You open your eyes but see nothing. You realize your laying on the ground and sit up and that's when you see another you? You look to the side and see another till you tilt your head and realize it's a mirror. You go to stand up but your body is all types of sore so you sit back down and look around and see there were 4 walls that were all mirrors.

"Hello?" you called out.

You looked everywhere trying to find something different something that wasn't just your reflection till the ceiling of the room turned a bright white. Like lights flashing from it but it wasn't blinding. You were able to look around more and looked towards the floor where you were at and saw it was a black floor but what was more noticeable was the lining of the floor you were on. You didn't know where you were or where this would lead to but you hoped it would be something.

You used your powers to try and go through and as you fell through you fell into a hall of some sort but you recognized it. The compound? How were you at the compound? Was what happened not real? Was it a dream? You took the chance and bolted down the hall and saw Tony's lab but it was empty. The Training Hall windows but no one was inside. You ran to the place you knew anyone would be but no one was there.

"Guys? Hello?" you called out.

After getting frustrated and concerned you ran across the room and through the other set of door leading to the rooms. You ran straight to Bucky's and knocked frantically but with your desperatio you didn't wait and just walked in. But what you saw left you confused.

"Hey Y/n" Bucky spoke. He was sat by his window and by the looks of it probably doing his staring off into nothing setting till he looks at you worried. "What's wrong?" he asked.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Hey what's wrong?" he asked.

"I'm not sure" I said uneasy.

"Hey come take a seat and breathe a bit" he said swinging his feet over and sitting right. I walked over slowly and sat next to him sort of startled with myself and tried to calm down a bit. "Looks like you went through a tornado" he joked.

"Something's wrong" I said.

"Like what? You feeling strange?" he asked.

"No it's...I swear it was real" I mumbled.

"What was?" he asked.

"We were on a mission. Brock was there and we had to go get him-We all went to go get him" I stated.

"Well we didn't. I'm right here and the others are somewhere. Not sure where exactly" he scoffed.

"No we went there I went there" I said standing up frustrated.

"Hey alright calm down Y/n" he said while getting up. "Look you probably dozed off somewhere and had a dream. Maybe your working yourself to hard with Rumlow here" he suggested.

"Everyday I sit in this compound is 1 day he gets to move right. So why would I have a dream of us catching him and wake up and see we never did" I explain.

"Hey Y/n I need you to take a deep breath for me alright" he said. He walked towards me but I stepped back uneasy and he stopped. "Your overworked y/n. Out of everyone here I know how important it is for you to catch Rumlow but right now. This is exhaustion y/n" he pointed out. He held out his hand and I looked at it briefly before looking at him again.

"Bucky I know what I saw" I told him.

"And I believe you. But maybe it wasn't real" he suggested. I looked into his eyes seeing worry till I felt him grab my hand making me look down at it and seeing him grabbing my hand so tenderly. "Why don't you sleep here with me. Get a few hours of shut eye and I'll be here to watch you" he suggested.

"I'm not tired Bucky" I said.

"Then just lay with me y/n. Rest a bit and take a breather cause your stressing yourself out about this" he spoke. He pulled me towards his bed and I followed him. He moved a couple pillows around till he laid down and pat a spot for me to sit next to him. "Just lay down Y/n. For me" he said holding a hand out for me.

I hesitated hard thinking. Maybe it was just a dream? He's here with me? I'm with him. Right? I grabbed his hand and got in bed next to him. He put a arm around me as I dug myself into his side trying to relax about everything I thought went down. When he knew I was comfortable he moved a bit and put his chin on my head.

"I got you y/n. Your safe with me now" he spoke.

I needed to relax. I was with him.

Rumlow's POV

"How is she" I asked.

"She's actually doing really well" one of the doctors spoke. "For no test runs with this it's working exceptionally. I'm shocked at how real it looks myself" he spoke. 

I looked over to the screens and saw her laying down with Barnes in bed but I knew she wasn't. I looked away from the screens and saw her laying on the table still unconscious. She was mine now. She wasn't gonna be leaving me anytime soon.

"Now there is a problem with the next step you asked for" the doctor spoke.

"What is it" I said without looking away from her. My girl.

"We will need to test run it and as well as your men are we think this could kill a person so we would actually need subjects. Not your men" he spoke.

"So get people" I answered looking at him annoyed. He only has one job.

"We will sir. And with the amount of time it took us to get this to work it may not be as simple to just 'get people'" he said.

"Then find people who won't be missed. The ones who no one misses just find someone" I ordered.

"Right away then" he said walking off.

I sighed and turned back towards my girl and walked up to the table she was laying on. She was always a beautiful being but after I'm done with her everyone will see her beauty. She will forget about Barnes and Shield. Everyone. Only mine.

Bucky's POV

"We can set out perimeters and facials everywhere but we can not find her without time" Shuri spoke.

"Look we get this girl means much to you all but we can only do so much" Romanda said.

"In the wrong hands she can create destruction. We never wanted to admit it but it is what it is when Rumlow has her. She needs to be found as soon as possible all eyes must be used to find her. We can help around here so you're focused on her but I beg of you. I need to find her and bring her home" I stated.

"We've helped you in the past White Wolf" Romanda stated walking forward. "You will be helped and we are with you. We will help wherever necessary" Romanda said.

"I suggest get settled" Shuri spoke. "It will take me time and I'm not sure of how much so get comfortable" she said.

"Want company" Tony offered.

"Sure playboy" Shuri spoke.

"And our friends" Steve mentioned. 

"They are in good hands till they wake up. There is enough space for everyone in the castle but like my daughter suggested. Only time will tell to get your friend back" Romanda spoke.

"Thank you again for your help" Steve said.

"You are always welcomed" she smiled. I nodded and me and Steve decided to walk away. "Oh Sargent" she called out making me turn around. "Ayo is at the training grounds. In case you are interested" she pointed out.

"Thank you" I spoke.
