When I drove us back to the compound I could tell Bucky's shoulder was in a lot of pain so I had to basically drag this big guy to the med wing. You would think the people with the jet would get here first but apparently an SUV is faster than a jet now.

"Sit down on that chair I'm gonna find some gauze" I said pointing to the table.

"Are you sure your alright?" he questions.

"You have a bullet coming out the back of your shoulder and your worried for my head injury?" I scoff.

"You nearly got blown up" he pointed out.

"Bomb proof" I said smiling. I finally find some gauze and walk over as he sits on the table and move his hand and apply pressure. "I think Brock made this personal".

"Why do you say that" he ask.

"They shot you in your only shoulder" I said smiling.

"Got jokes now".

"You love me" I smiled.

"Always will Y/n. Let me look at your head" he said raising his other arm up to push my head to the side. "Just a cut but it's a lot of blood for how small it is" he questions.

"I got slammed into a car" I mention. He grabs my chin turning my head the other way till he pulls my head down a bit and he starts looking into my eyes. "What is it?" I ask.

"Making sure your...seeing straight?" he asked.

"I can see Bucky" I said shrugging his hand off my face. "You how ever got shot which is worse than a small concussion".

I hear a lot of loud footsteps till I see everyone running into the med bay but instead of rushing to do anything they just stand at the door.

"What are you doing?" I question.

"You're okay?" Tony questions.

"Bucky got shot Stark come help him" I yell. He walks over and starts looking at the wound and that's when I step back and take a breath before looking at the others. "You guys took your time" I say.

"Fury saw something and had us look into it" Wanda said.

"Where is that bald bastard anyway?" I ask.

"We had to drop him off in the city to see the damage" Steve said.

"Yeah. It ain't pretty" I mumble.

"She was near a explosion probable concussion so just take watch her till I get fixed up" Bucky states.

"She's with us now. She will be fine" Steve states.

Bucky's POV

Ayo had taken me down to the village where I had lived to see all the kids again and I'm not surprised they missed me. Iggi a boy who I knew and talked to everyday was also there with me. His mother had died protecting Wakanda and is now an orphan but when I was here I took him in my care but when I left I couldn't take him with me. The boy is 12 not being watched by Ayo as a favor I asked for and thank god she did because if he didn't have any help he wouldn't be where he is now. Ayo has taught him how to fight and he's really good at it. Better than Queens might I add. After visiting we headed back up to the castle trying to find the others as we were called back up here.

"You did well with him Ayo" I said.

"He did it on his own. I only gave him tools and food. The rest he got from you" she stated.

"You'd be a good mother is you put the spear down once in a while" I said smiling.

"I protect my country. Not a marriage".
