Y/N POV

I've noticed that Hunter had been very tired...well, more tired than usual. He literally looks like he could pass out at any moment, but no matter how hard I try he won't listen to me. I've tried multiple times to get him to go to sleep, take a break, eat something- Anything, but he's too determined of satisfying the emperor. I hated that power-happy pig. So I decided to follow Hunter on one of his missions to try at least one more time to get him to take a small break.

I just threatened a wimpy guard for where Hunter was going for his next mission! I ran through the woods and onto an abandoned trail, overgrown by nature. I heard slow footsteps up ahead and quickly ran behind the trees, catching up to the steps. I cautiously peaked out from behind a tree, but soon felt happiness flow through me at the sight of my beloved beat-up blonde.

"Hunter!" I called, running up to him. He jumped slightly and whipped around, holding up his staff. I slid to a stop and slightly backed up while staring at him in shock.

"Oh... Its just you ,Y/N" He started, backing down. "Why are you here? How did you know I was here?" He questioned me suspiciously.

"Slow down with the questions! I'm just here to talk to you?" I stated walking up to him. I pulled him into a hug and he eagerly hugged back.

"Hmmm... I missed you.." He mumbled into my cloak.

"Well maybe you and me could- y'know... Chill at my place? And do fun things like SLEEP and RELAX!" I hint at what I was trying to get him to do. He sighed and pushed me away, continuing down the path. I chase after him and continue.

"Y'know I don't know how you think your gonna be able to win EVERY mission- your so tired, your reaction time is gonna slow, you won't have a lot of energy to figh-" I was cut off.

"Shut it." I hear Hunter growl. I gasp in response.

"I know what your trying to do. Make me fail." He stares straight ahead, a pissed look on his face.

"Excuse me?! I'm not trying to make you fail I'm trying to help you!" I exclaimed, grabbing his cape to make him stop. He snatches it back and glares at me before continuing to walk.

"Yea, yea.. If your trying to help me... Leave. You'll really help me there." He sneers. I stop in my tracks, staring at him in disbelief.

"What..." I softly question, making sure I heard him right.

"You heard me. Leave." He says slowly, coming to a stop and looking over his shoulder. I knew DAMN right he wasn't talking to me like that.

"Oh? Well sorry I care about you, sorry I wanna make sure your okay, sorry I wanna check in on you to see if you've eaten, sorry I'm trying to make you feel better. Oh! And don't forget that YOU are the one always telling me about your problems?! So because I know what your going through I'm trying to be the best partner I can be and take care of you!" I shout at him.

"I don't need you to take care of me!" He shouts back.

"I can take care of myself just fine." He snarled, glaring at me with cold eyes.

"Really? Cause your not doing a good job of it." I cross my arms and look at him him an unpleased look. His eyes widened, then look away stomping off down the trail.

"Its emperor Belos right? He's over working you! You're only 16... Everybody needs a break whether you believe me or not! You're gonna break one day! I'm trying to help you gain at least some of your mental health back!" I explain, following the poor manipulated boy.
