Road Of The Past

The Beginning

Hi, my name is Jaxson and this is my story. Yesterday morning I woke up to some interesting news. When I went downstairs to eat breakfast my mom told me that my sister and I were switching schools. I was happy because I didn't like my other school. Then when I was done with breakfast she told me that my uniform was in my closet and to get my sister up.

I grinned and went to the cabinet to get two pans then headed to her room. I quietly crept towards her bed and BAM! I hit the pans together and my sister woke up instantly and gave me a death glare. I started to head out the door but then stopped "by the way" I said. Were switching schools, your uniform is in the closet." I then left and went to my room to get dressed.

When I looked at my uniform I started to freak out. The guy's uniform was a suit, tie, and dress shoes. I hate fancy stuff so I didn't like the uniform. I then went to my closet and got my black ripped jeans, a black collared crop, and a tie. Then I got my black combat boots and choker from my dresser.

I then headed downstairs to wait for my sister. When she finally came we went to the car and waited for our driver. If I haven't mentioned we are one of the richest families in Avondale. When we arrived at the school lots of people were staring at us. We then got out of the car and headed inside.

When we got inside a girl was waiting for us. "Your Moon and Jaxson right?" she asked "that would be us" my sister responded. "Well I'm Callie and I'm your tour guide." she said, "follow me". As she took us around the school, I saw someone that looked familiar. When I asked who that was she said that his name was Alex and that I shouldn't get involved with him.

The bell then rang and we headed to class. When we walked in the teacher told us her name and to introduce ourselves. "I'm Jaxson, I'm 16, don't get in my way," I said. "I'm Moon, I'm 16, and I like cheer," said my sister. The teacher then told us to sit down.

"Today we are having a spelling bee" our teacher announced. "Moon and Jaxson can choose if they want to participate, but everyone else has to." " So will you participate?" "Sure" we responded. "Ok everyone, get in a line," she said. "How do you spell cat?" she asked one kid. "K-A-T," he said with a grin. "Wrong get out of line." the teacher said.

After a while, it was just me, Moon, Alex, and these kids named Avery and Landon. "How do you spell apprentice?" she asked Landon. " Apprentice. A-P-R-E-N-T-I-C-E" he said. "I'm sorry but that's wrong," the teacher said. After a while, it was just me, Alex, and Avery.

"How do you spell gallium?" she asked me. "Gallium. G-A-L-L-I-U-M". "Correct again Jaxson," she said."How do you spell atmospheric" she asked Avery. "Atmospheric. A-T-M-O-S-F-E-R-I-C," she said. "I'm sorry but that's wrong," the teacher said. " Now it's between Alex and Jaxson"

"How do you spell emphysema?" she asked Alex. "Emphysema. E-M-P-H-I-S-I-M-A" He said. "Wrong, Jaxson if you get this right you win" responded the teacher. "Emphysema. E-M-P-H-Y-S-E-M-A I said. "Correct again" responded the teacher. "Jaxson has now won the spelling bee and will move on to state" "class dismissed"

"Good job bro," my sister said. "It was like I was in first grade" I responded. "Yea yea we get it your smart," she said as we headed to the rooftop. Halfway through lunch, I felt something. "What do you want Damion," I say while turning around. "I want to make a deal" He said. " what is is?" I responded. "meet me after school" he said then he left
