Countdown

"Boo!"

Spinel shrieked and stumbled away. "Firecracker! Don't do that!" Spinel squeaked and gently punched Dabi's arm. "Meanie."

"You fucking bet I am." His grin was obscured by his mask, but Spinel was able to make it out from the mischief in his eyes. "Let's head back. It's almost time for dinner."

Spinel looked up at the sky then the clock. She hadn't realized how fast time went by. Time really does fly when you're having fun. The pair conversed as they walked. They spoke about all the mundane happenings. From afar, the warm aura around the pair was almost visible. Soft smiles and suppressed laughter were the most defining features of the scene.

One would almost think they were normal siblings.

But they weren't, they blurred the lines between good and bad.

A hero-in-training and a supervillain.

Detective Tsukauchi walked into the UA faculty meeting room. "Good afternoon everyone." He wasn't really sure who Aizawa was able to enlist the help of in such a short time. He looked around at the crowd, he was shocked. But definitely not disappointed. There were a few lesser known heroes in the mix but what really impressed him were the big names Eraserhead was able to enlist.

"Seems like everyone is here now. Let's not waste any more time and get started, shall we?" The heroes crowded around the map as Tsukauchi pointed out the location of the new apartment. "As you all know, we have a solid lead on Dabi's whereabouts. We want to start the raid in three hours from now, maximum. The earlier the better."

Instead of takeout the pair had opted to try their hand at making something, they had decided on 'breakfast for dinner'. Spinel had flashbacks from the bacon incident causing her to giggle as she took the bacon out from the freezer.

Dabi raised an eyebrow as he started on the scrambled eggs. "What's so funny?" He eyed the bacon then let out a snicker of his own. "Oh"

The the pair didn't usually cook together since the dorm system became a thing, so it was a nice change of pace. They were both happy with this mundane domestic scene. "Hey! You'll burn it!" Spinel exclaimed as she directed Dabi's attention back to the food.

"Psh. I got it" He gave her a shit eating grin as he once more paid attention to his cooking.

Spinel started to hum a quiet tune that Dabi would make every time he styled her hair for her. It wasn't long before Dabi heard it. He hadn't been aware that he hummed often enough that his baby sister was able to recreate the tune perfectly. Ah, I missed this.

The police were a few houses down, armed and ready to attack. They were split into two groups. Mt Lady and Gang Orca were going to start the initial attack before allowing Endeavor, Eraserhead and Snatch into the premises to capture Dabi. As far as they knew Dabi had a powerful fire quirk, but they weren't sure on much else when it came to his fighting capabilities. "Once we capture him, we will be able to get information from the league of villains. We are dealing with a cold-blooded killer, proceed with the utmost caution."

All the police on site were protected with fireproof gear. They were split into two teams. Team A would fight head on. And Team B would create a small perimeter around the house. The heroes prepared as Mt Lady pulled back her hand ready to activate her quirk to rip a hole in the wall.
