Goodbye, My Darling

Hi there!

Now it's like fully completed. Like 100% done.

I know I said in the last author's note that I couldn't believe it, but goddamn. Two endings. I can't even. Honestly, I pretty much said almost everything in the other author's note (Link here) for the hero ending.

Initially I was expecting the villain ending to be longer but apparently that was not the case. I ended up finishing the villain ending wayyyyyyy before I even finished posting the chapters of the hero ending lol. But like, legit though. Goddamn. This is the first time I tried to write a story that was mostly angst and had a sad/bittersweet ending. Gotta say, emotionally tiring.

Compared to the 'Hero' end this ending had a lot more freedom to go hella off the rails – which I did as you can tell. I cried when I hurt my babies. (Oh Dabi bby ;-; )The angst was so real. In this ending a few of the characters from the first end didn't show up because Spinel never went to the license exam, but that's ok because I still got to kill the parents. Though tbh I did consider a villain shindou but then I was like "The license exam tho?"

But anyway!

Thank you for continuing to read and for making it this far and especially for giving this fic a chance! I know OC inserts aren't very popular compared to the other stuff. So y'all are awesome. I really hope you enjoyed reading the fic.
