"I'm sorry, what?" Leo's lips parted, "what do you mean what? My explanation was very clear." I gave him a look, "what part of meet me on Saturday at the play park makes sense to you?"

He shook his head, "it's not that difficult! Play park and playground are basically the same thing." "If you know the difference then, why didn't you just say playground?" He shrugged, "I didn't think it would be confusing! My phone is British, Jakie, it autocorrects."

I sighed, "thank God you were born with an English tongue instead of Spanish or something. I would never be able to understand you then." "Speak for yourself, at least if I was hispanic I wouldn't have to worry about the sun burning my skin the second I step outside. The life of a ginger is not for the faint hearted."

"Hispanics get sunburned also," Riley said, leaning on a park bench. Leo thought for a moment before speaking, "then I want to be African American." Riley laughed, "we get burned too, just not a lot."

Leo threw up his arms, "do you see how pasty white these muscular limbs are? In an hour tops they'll be pink and red." A car pulled up and we all jerked our heads towards it.

Kelsey hopped out of the front seat, Lucas slipped out of the passenger side, and a girl I didn't recognize got out of the back. "Who is that?" Leo asked. Kelsey smiled at us, "one of my best friends, Rayla. Ray, this is Leo, Riley, and Jacob."

Rayla had long strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes, pale skin, and was at least three inches taller than Kelsey. Kelsey's brown crease, "why are you in a wheelchair?" I pointed a finger at Leo with an annoyed expression.

He had practically binded me to this chair the moment he rolled it into the nurse's room a week ago. I could walk just fine, jog, run a little bit, but I couldn't do much for a long amount of time.

My legs would start burning about every thirty minutes when I played on the field, which wouldn't be a problem, except for the fact Coach no longer let me run until I deemed I was done... he pulled me out the moment my performance even slightly drops.

"Rayla I see you've already met Lucas," the ginger said in a charming smile. She nodded, "yeah, he's nice. I didn't know you were British." He smirked, "I am, like the accent?" She shrugged, "I like the Australian version more."

His friendly encounter went up in flames, "are you serious? You should be thankful you've even met a Brit in America." While he was busy bickering away, I slowly stood up from the chair, careful not to draw his attention.

I took one step before, "if you keep standing up, I will strap you to the chair." Groaning, I gave Kelsey a pleading look while Leo fixed me in a tight glare. Riley stepped up and placed a hand on Leo's shoulder, "come on, Brit." "Brit? Did you just downgrade my persona to a country?" He started to steer Leo away all while the ginger protested.

"I will be back and we will finish this argument!" Leo declared before leaving with Riley. I wasn't sure what it was, but he was a lot easier to rile up today than usual. "What's wrong with him?" Kelsey shrugged, "I was going to ask you. You know, since you're with the three musketeers."

Lucas raised his brow, "what am I?" Her face contorted in confusion, "haven't you seen The Three Musketeers?" He shook his head, "that was one of my sister's favorites movies though. The one with Logan Lerman in it." Kelsey smiled, "that was my favorite version, probably just because he's hot. No offense Jacob." I casually shook my head, "none taken, I love that guy."

"You like Logan Lerman?" She asked, surprised. I hummed, "he's a great actor. Carter always dragged us to the Percy Jackson movies. Alejandro's sister wanted to watch The Perks of Being a Wallflower and couldn't find anyone to watch us on short notice, so she made us come."
