You were Hanma's dog. You followed every order he tells you, even if it includes killing someone, you have to, you can never disobey him. Cause if you do, things will become very difficult for you.

he called out as you looked up at him. You were currently laying on his lap as he stroked your hair.

"Y-yeah?"

"I'm going to sell you to Bonten,"
he spoke with a blank expression. He seemed unaffected. You just looked at him and nodded.

you wanted to protest but couldn't since once he made his decision, you can't make him change his mind. You just laid there, holding back tears, since, after 5 years of being his dog, you were falling. You were falling for this fugitive. You sat up and looked at him.

"I'll be in the bathroom,"

you mumbled and made your way there.

You sat inside the bathtub, hugging yourself, and were crying silently. You wanted to tell him you love him, but can't since he only sees you like his dog and a sex toy that he can use whenever he wanted. You soon got out and noticed he left. You sighed as you cleaned up the apartment before he gets mad. You made him dinner as he came back at 9:30.

"Welcome back,"

you said not facing him as you were washing the dishes you used earlier. You heard him taking off his shoes as you were done washing and finally faced him.

"So when will you sell me?"

you asked him and looked at him with a cold expression. He stood there, a bit surprised by your sudden question.

"Tonight at midnight,"

he replied as you hummed in response as you walked past him.

"I'll just prepare my things."

He looked at you and sighed as he went to the dining table to eat.

Midnight came as you wore your usual clothing, a t-shirt, and shorts. And you were wrapped around on one of Hanma's long coats. You were quite the whole ride as you didn't even dare look at him.

"We're here,"
he spoke as you hummed. You side-eyed him and he seemed irritated. He then dragged you to a dark alley as you gasp when he pinned you to the wall and gave you a rough kiss. You groaned and soon gave up, kissing him back. You were held tightly by gentle yet harsh hands of his. He started biting your neck, making you hiss in pain as he took off the coat you were wearing. He suddenly stopped as he rested his head on your shoulders. You look at him, a bit confused.

"I can't.."
he mumbled.

"I can't what?"

"I can't afford to lose you..."

His words made you blush as he looked at you.

"Y/n.. I've always liked you.."

His sudden confession made you flustered, it felt like your heart was going to burst out any minute. Your mood then changed back as you stroked his cheeks.

"But we can't turn back now, right?"

He held your hand, kissing it.

"I've always liked you too, Shuji.."
