Here is Chapter 4 of Magic comes to Riverdale. Will's gotten a taste of the Sorcerer life. Investigating mystical threats at the Sanctum and then taking them out to save people. It's what his dad did for years and it's what he'll do, even while going to school. Sounds like a great idea for a TV show. Anyway, after learning the truth from Jason's spirit, the trick now is to find out how deep it goes and figure out how to take Clifford Blossom down. Problem is things in Riverdale pick up. Enjoy!
Magic comes to Riverdale: Into the heart of darkness
September 2017: Riverdale
September was here and soon the start of fall would arise but that was the last thing on Will's mind at the moment. All he could think about was what Jason told him. How it was his own father, Clifford Blossom who shot him in the head and he did it because Jason discovered a horrible truth. That truth was that Clifford Blossom was a drug trafficker and used the Blossom's maple syrup business as a cover to smuggle drugs from Canada into Riverdale and beyond. Jason learned of his father's drug trafficking and tried to run away which resulted in Clifford capturing his son and then killing him. That alone was tough to swallow but Jason also told Will that he and Polly were engaged and planning to leave Riverdale together for some farm. And that Polly was pregnant with their baby. And he made Will promise to keep Polly and Cheryl safe from his father.
So...yeah. A lot happened.
You'd think that finding out the truth that was gripping the entire town would be a huge relief but therein lies its own issue. He couldn't tell Sheriff Keller this because he would have no explanation for how he knew this and no physical proof. His mom was right so he had to figure out a way to expose the truth. That's what Will was working on at the moment in his room. Taking a picture out of Sheriff Keller's book, Will set up his own investigational board into Clifford Blossom's activities and drug operation.
Granted, calling it an investigational board is a bit of a stretch. It was just part of his wall with the pictures of Clifford Blossom and Jason Blossom with the words drug dealer, drugs, and murder written on note cards. And then string interconnecting them. Again, it wasn't really an investigational board yet. Will was just laying it out for visual reference but he still didn't know enough and needed to know more.
He was standing in his room just looking at the board and at Clifford Blossom's picture, wondering what kind of parent can shoot his son in the head and then put up this innocent façade to the entire town. Someone who is either a psychopath or has no soul and was possessed by a demon. The jury was still out on which one applied to Cliff Blossom.
[Knock-knock] "Will?" Jughead knocked on his door so Will snapped his fingers and the investigational board vanished.
"Yeah?" He answered so Jughead walked in with his backpack. "What's up?"
"Betty texted saying we could head over now." Jughead told him.
"Right." Will grabbed his backpack off his desk chair and his jacket off a hook. "Into the belly of the beast we go."
