Ryou walked through the early morning dew of rain in Domino City. Ryou loved the rain himself, especially in the mornings; he thought the nice pastel sky fit the drizzle of the water falling from it. His brother, Bakura, came running up behind him. He pounced on him, almost making the poor daydreaming boy fall. "You're scrawnier than me! imagine if Marikuu and his group pounced on you." Bakura cackled. Ryou's daydreaming and happy moments fell to an end, as the nightmare of Marikuu entered his mind as a substitute. Bakura must've noticed Ryou's legs beginning to shake, because he then shouted, "CHICKEN LEGS!" Ryou sighed hopelessly. They haven't even reached the school, and Ryou already knew one thing.

Today wasn't gonna be a normal day.

Marikuu blew out the smoke from his cigarette, beginning to become impatient for his mind slaves to arrive. "What the fuck is the hold-up?" He muttered. He flicked his now useless cigarette onto the concrete, and smooshed it before walking inside the school until-
BUMP!
Before the scary man even had a chance to curse out the person who interrupted his walk into the building, he heard a light British boys voice. Or a girls? He couldn't tell, and he didn't really care. "Apologies, apologies, apologies!! I'm so sorry, my brother shoved me at last minute and I couldn't stop myself in time.. oh goodness, here, let me help you pick up your things." Marikuu was confused. Maybe even threatened. Who did this... PERSON think they are? Bumping into the man who'd kill teachers with a stare and get away with anything? The man who'd kick this little kids ass in a heartbeat?

Did they know who Marikuu was?

"I don't want little kids touching my stuff, thanks." Marikuu snarled. The poor British individual stopped in their tracks, slowly standing back up. Marikuu lived to see peoples days be ruined. Maybe he could ruin this guys day even more? Nah. He'll just tell them to fuck off, grab his stuff, and go to his class. But before he even could, the individual (who Marikuu is now positive that they are a male), began to run his mouth again. "I'm Ryou. I already know who you are, my brother is friends with your brother." Marikuu smirked and looked back. "Didn't ask for your name, tiny. I simply asked for your baby little hands to get the hell away from my stuff. Also, if you actually cared and knew who I was, you wouldn't have bumped into me in the first place." Ryou looked down. Marikuu gave out an evil chuckle. "Just what I thought."
Marikuu began to walk his way again, but he was stopped once again. Not by a bump, but by someone.. gripping his shoulder? Marikuu had had about enough of this foolery, he turned his head, about to yell until the British boy once again interrupted him. "Please, let me take you to lunch or something. Maybe even just for tea?" Marikuu frowned. "I'm not British, I don't like tea, cottontail." Ryou sighed. "Coffee then? Please just let me show you I'm sorry." he said, completely ignoring the nickname Marikuu gave the boy. Marikuu scoffed. "Are you British people dumb? I've said 'no' so many times, do you still not fucking understand? The answer is no." Marikuu began to walk off, leaving 'Cottontail' behind, until-

"It'll be on me?"

At this rate, Marikuu was just tired of it. Coffee didn't sound too bad either, especially considering he wouldn't have to pay for it. Marikuu let out a long, annoyed sigh, and looked back at the female looking boy. "Fine. But you better fucking hope you don't piss me off before we even get there." Ryou smiled for a minute, until he realized it and shook it off quickly. "I promise... 5:30 today?" Marikuu shrugged and checked his phone. "I'm usually always free, unless I'm busy with beating the shit out of kids." Marikuu chuckled softly at the end of his sentence. Ryou's legs felt like jelly after hearing that, but he shook it off. "Sure. 5:30's fine for me. But you're bringing me there, and we'll meet in the parking lot, understand, tiny?" Ryou nodded, almost frantically. Marikuu walked off, with (finally) no interruptions.
Ryou? Ryou felt as if his heart would burst at any minute. He'd never talked to anyone other than his own brother and Marik, and he didn't even talk to them often. Ryou wondered why he felt so.. almost like he was flying? Maybe overcoming fears felt like this. His pondering was interrupted by his brother once again, but this time alarming him. "Ryou, we have to get to class you brainlet!" Bakura shouted from the hallway beside Ryou. That must've meant that Bakura and Marik were done talking; they always loved to have excessive chatter in the mornings, even if they got to see each other a lot throughout the day because of their schedules. They were like this since primary school, and the only thing that really changed between the two was how they felt about each other, but in a positive manner. But no one else knew about it but Ryou, and Ryou only found out on his own (and was threatened by Bakura that if he told anyone that he'd burn his DND card collection.)
When Ryou looked into the hallway, he noticed that Marik waved to him before walking off. Marik was nice, for being the older (by 20 minutes) brother of Marikuu. Could you believe that they're related? Who knew that Marik's younger brother was pretty much top dog. Marik didn't like speaking about his family often, unless it was about Ishizu and Odion. He never usually spoke about Marikuu, which is kind of sad, but I guess its the price you pay for being a dick all the time.
"Are you just gonna keep standing there or what? Get the bloody hell over here before someone mistakes you for a first grader!" Bakura shouted once more, trying to get his point more across. Ryou was snapped from pondering again instantly, jogging over to his brother, making him run out of breath. "You really need to work on that daydreaming stuff. You didn't even wave back to Marik!" Ryou looked over to the blonde individual. He always dressed feminine, which was something no one ever questioned, and surprisingly something Marik never got bullied on. Maybe Marikuu cared a little bit? Ryou caught his breath. "I'll have to apologize later." Bakura frowned. "You bet your tiny little ass you will. Lets go, we have the same first period, since we were late enough to where we missed homeroom." Bakura started to walk, and Ryou walked right behind him, getting into his pondering daydreams once more.

A/N
This is starting to get really fun to write...
I wanted to mix both an introduction to all of the characters whilst preparing the plot, which was slightly a bit difficult, but I hope it came across to you. Chapter 2 may have to wait for a bit, considering I'm writing this on a Friday morning before I have to head to school, and my weekends are relatively busy with family events and plans. Sorry!! I'll try and get it out by next week maybe?
I hope you enjoyed!
