High Hopes (Chris Motionless)

All Over Again

"Dev! Stop it." I yell making him jump. I suddenly laugh and he laughs also.

"I'm sorry I just really hate this thing. He was currently beating Elmo with an old baseball bat of mine. So I guess you're wondering what's going on with Chris and I. We're on good terms, back together now. Him and Devin are best friends it seems like.

Chris kicked TJ out of the band for reasons that I don't know. He wont tell me. Devin plays bass in the band now and his friend I just met Ricky, got moved to lead guitar.

Devin picked up the dead Elmo and threw him away. "You're gonna have to get me a new one you know."

"But you have that guinea pig I got you." he frowns.

"I'm kidding," I laugh.

Chris POV

"So you ready for midterms today?" I ask. She nods and opens her locker. "Okay good. I'm gonna cheat off of you today just so you know."

She laughs and I also toss my coat in her locker. "Chris, you can't cheat. You might get caught."

We start walking and I take her hand in mine. "Trust me babe, I'm not gonna get caught."

She shrugs. "Suit yourself."

"I'm kidding! Who cheats on an English exam? It's like the easiest class."

She looks over at me and rolls her eyes.

I let in the class first and follow close behind. I see that some over her friends wave at her and I just smile. "Hey, Christopher!" this guy yell whispers at me. "Come her for a sec."

I go over to Charles, I think that's what his name is, and sit across from him at another desk and wait for him to speak up as I sit.

"So I hear you're with my girl Arabella-"

"You're girl?" I cut him off.

"Dude I didn't mean it like that. We're just friends. So I hear you're with her now and my friends and I just want you to hang with us. You seem mad cool."

"Sure. I'll...catch you whenever." I go back to my seat next to Bella and she smiles turning back to me as she finishes talking to a friend.

"What was that about?"

I shake my head and turn towards the front as the proctor prepares to hand out the exams.

Devin POV

"She's cute isn't she?" Arabella said elbowing my side.

Bella told me that her name was Kylie and that she switched out of her other class in Creative Writing to be here in photography. She sat next to Bels, in between Bels and I. Bella introduced us and we began getting to know each other with small talk.

"Alright,guys! Listen up! Today we'll be working on a bit of photoshop today. Kylie I know you're new here so Devin will help you today since we'll be working in pairs of twos. So I want everyone to get their assigned cameras and we can head out to the atrium."
