Chris POV
We were riding to her place, about 4 minutes until we get there. I wonder what she's thinking about...
"You're smiling," I say looking over at her then returning my eyes back on the road.
"Keep your eyes on the road, Chris," she clears her throat taking another sip of her iced coffee.
She changed her hair again. Her hair grew a bit and it was no longer wavy, it was straight.
"Your parents are still gone I see,"
I pull into her driveway and we exit the car. She struggles finding her keys any before opening the door.
She turns on the light and takes her bag and mines to her room then comes back down the stairs.
"Let's go to the basement," she exhorts. "I have to make a few business transactions,"
"That's what I want to talk to about, besides the other thing",
"What's the other thing?" she takes two shots of tequila before joining me on the couch. "The thing besides the business transactions?"
"Us, I want to talk about us, because lately, there is no us. You have a boyfriend now. You've moved on, that fast,"
"What is your point in saying all this? What are you trying to say?"
"I want you back. I forgive you, for what you did to me and I'm over it. I want you to be my girlfriend,"
"Andy is my boyfriend. I like him. A lot,"
I roll my eyes. "Sure you do,"
"Anyways, I'm gonna go to the bar right over there. Care to join me?"
"No, thanks. I don't drink. I'm deciding to be in that straight edge scene,"
"One drink wouldn't hurt though,"
"Yes, it would,"
"Fine, suit yourself. But if you take one shot, I'll be yours again,"
"Bella, you can't do that. That just goes to show you don't care about me. Fuck this, I'm going home,"
"I was just kidding. Don't go, please stay here, with me,"
"I hate you sometimes,"
"I hate me too but I love me also,"
"I love you too,"
She sighs taking a shot of Vodka. She pours herself a glass of Rum and pats my cheek, returning to the sofa.
I sit next to her and she crosses her legs, facing me. "Lets talk,"
I nod motioning her to go on.
"What are gonna do after high school?" She asks downing her glass of Rum, placing the empty glass on the coffee table.
"I'm gonna continue with my music career. I want to be in that lifestyle so badly I'd give anything,"
"Would give me up?"
"Yes,"
"Damn," she says raising her brows. "I must not matter to you,"
I laugh. "Shut up. I thought you knew how bad I want this,"
She shakes her head.
"Okay, in all honestly, do you or do you not still have feelings for me,"
"I do not want to talk about this,"
"Why not?"
"Because..." She trails off twirling her thumbs.
"Come one Bells, talk to me. Let me know what's going on inside that pretty little head of yours,"
"I do have feelings for you. They're aren't as strong as before though,"
"I can change that," I kiss the back of her hand while gently massaging it as she takes this in slowly. "If you let me,"
"I'm with Andy," she whispers.
"You and I both know that we belong together. I want you in my life as my girlfriend, and I'm not taking no as an answer," I say spinning her in the air throwing her over my shoulder.
"Chris! Put me down, you're gonna make me throw up. Stop!"
"Is that a yes?"
"It's a no,"
I pout putting her down. We watch a couple movies before I head home since she wanted Andy to come over.
I'm not giving up on us...
