Sorry, I had to do this. Splatoon 3 got more info and Agent 3 is now the leader... So now that's out... While this trilogy won't be 100% canon to Splatoon 3, I'll still try my best to add elements. This is one of them... Anyway, enjoy.
3 weeks after the ending of Inkopolis Chaos 3...
Callie, Marie, Jade, Summer, Luke, Katelin, Samuel and Natalie got called to Cuttlefish Cabin for a meeting by Cap'n Cuttlefish.
Samuel: I wonder what this is about...
Natalie: Don't know, but hey it's something! Apparently it's super important, so I decided to come.
Luke: Ayy you two are right on time, meetings gonna start now!
Samuel: NOW?! Oh crap!
The 3 rush over.
Callie: Hey! *waves* You made it!
Luke: Yes, we did!
Summer: Apparently the captain wants a meetin. Well I hope nobody chokes on pretzels!
Katelin: C-Choke? *was literally about to eat a pretzel*
Jade: Your not gonna choke on that, don't worry about it. Summer was joking. You survived against a genocidal telephone, a racist crime boss, a psychopath squid lady and an octarian dictator. A pretzel won't defeat you, k?
Katelin: Yeah, your right! *hugs jade*
DJ Octavio: M-Mind letting me out of this place? I want to see Octo Valley!
Summer: Oh you'd hate it... A massive majority of the octolings left, so it's mostly octarians, and of course some octolings who still are loyal to you or obsidian-
DJ Octavio: DONT MENTION THAT NAME!
Summer: A bunch of octolings on the surface say that about you. I mean, we still have some to rescue from underground, and the metro because sanitisation is yucky, but not as yucky as your face, which makes onions cry!
DJ Octavio: You smug little brat...
Summer: Ayy you two, cya around dude. *walks over to the meeting*
Cap'n Cuttlefish: Everyone here?
Callie: Yeah!
Marie: Yup.
Jade: *nods*
Summer: Ayy!
Luke: Sup.
Katelin: Yes!
Samuel: Here!
Natalie: Yes sir!
Cap'n Cuttlefish: Great! So... I called you all here today to say that this meeting... Is the last meeting I'll ever call.
Everyone is surprised and confused.
Samuel: Wait, what do you mean?
Cap'n Cuttlefish: Well boy, I'm resigning from the squidbeak. It's been over 100 years of service, and it's been a pleasure! We even managed to bridge back the peace between inklings and octolings recently! But I've been in this job for a while now, and I feel like it's time for a new generation to command this agency.
Natalie: Wait, if your no longer the captain, who will be?
Cap'n Cuttlefish: *takes off his hat* I'm passing my mantle of captain onto... Jade!
Jade: *gasps in suprise* A-Are you sure? Me?
Cap'n Cuttlefish: Come on, you've done so much for everyone! You deserve it! *pats jade on the back*
Callie: Yeah! You rescued the great zapfish!
Marie: Your always protecting others.
Samuel: You saved me and Natalie from dying!
Natalie: You gave Scarlet what she deserved!
Summer: Your brave and awesome, gal.
Luke: Your honestly the best fighter I've seen!
Katelin: You saved me and cuttlefish from that blender, you gave me a new life, plus everything everyone else said! Your the best! I agree with cuttlefish, you deserve it!
Jade: *takes off her old hat, and stares at the captains hat for a while* Do I-
Samuel: Yes!
Jade: *after a while, she overcomes her inner struggles and puts the hat on*
Summer: Captain!
Natalie: Safe to say your not Agent 3 anymore. Your now Captain Jade! Or Captain Grady, what do you prefer?
Jade: Eh, you can call me what you want. I'm not too fussed.
Katelin: *hugs jade* You really deserve it, no matter what your demons say... Just do your best to lead! Because I know you will!
Samuel: *nods* You'll do great, Jade.
Natalie: *yells at Octavio suddenly* AND I WANT NO SMUG COMMENTS FROM YOU!
Jade: *looks over the edge* It looks like I've got a new beginning ahead of me, as the captain. *smiles*
