nineteen pt. 2

Harry's silence scared me, and I so badly wished to go home and forget the whole thing between him and I even happened. The walls I built were tumbling down.

"Tris, I need your help, I can't find him all on my own." he stated without even looking up. I envied his calmness in the situation.

"How am I supposed to help?"

"Do you know of any places he would go to feel better?" he questioned me with raised eyebrows. I thought hard, but honestly couldn't think of anything. Niall would go places without me when he was upset, or completely disappear. "Then we will just keep looking." He stood and noticed my hesitation. "Tris we don't have time to waste, things can go horribly wrong if his family realizes he is gone." I couldn't even create enough courage to look up at him.

"Neither of you know, but he is much more important than you think. His decision is the rise or fall of Endland as well as the Underworld itself! We need to find him before anyone else does." he whispered roughly as he grabbed my cheeks. (oooo foreshadowing)

"Decision? What do you mean?" I searched his expression for some help. It only dropped.

"Dammit Niall! I can't believe he didn't tell you. " he stated in an exhausted voice. He worked his fingers through his hair, clearly frustrated. Harry sat back down in dismay.

He was silent for a long time after that, and we both sat in quiet. I studied my hands, utterly confused by the nonsense of this whole thing.

Finally he spoke. "Tristan, go home. You can't help me."

My mouth dropped in disbelief, and I stood instantly, with anger rushing through my veins. "Harry! No I'm here to help you find the boy I love, the boy who has helped me through thick an thin. You can't leave me out of this." He shook his head at my words.

"No!" he stood instantly and grabbed my shoulders, the rest of the world melting into black and his eyes lighting into a furious bright green. I couldn't break eye contact. "You need to go home now Tristan. Can't you just see that he is too dangerous for you? Can't you see he is destined to hurt every thing around him? You can't help him anymore, he is lost, and you will be too if you don't go home now." He calmed as his eyes faded back into their normal color and the room we once were in returned.

Again, I searched his expression. Tears sprung from my eyes as I responded.

"No. I can't see, so let me go!" I yelled as I ripped myself from his grip. I guess this was normal in Endland because not a single set of eyes were on us. I took a step back from Harry and saw his expression of utter disbelief. I shook my head as the tears rolled freely down my cheeks.

I quickly turned on my heel, knowing that somebody, anybody, in all of Endland knew where Niall was. I jogged out of the coffee shop, taking an immediate left and jostling into the crowd. It was always busy here.

I didn't care if Harry followed, I needed to find Niall.

I had no idea where I was going, but I knew something could help me, I could feel it.

As I thought that I stopped when I saw an interesting billboard. It read in large bubble letters:
