The cool breeze wasn't helping the fact I thought I was catching a cold anyway, but I remained complaint less. Niall walked with me, both of us in relaxed silence, accepting it with open arms. We hadn't talked much since that night, but really, I wanted to so badly.

The book store ended up on my right, taking a shape left turn and purposely bumping into Niall. He regained his balance while following and smiled when he caught be at the entrance.

"Would you go find two books please?" I asked.

"Sure, which ones?"

"Your personal favorite, and one that sounds amazing to you. I'll get my class books and you come find me when you're done. Ok?" He nodded at my question, and walked off into the remained of the store. I turned around and found my way to the used book section. There I found a clerk and she nicely directed me to the studies section.

Names of classes passed by, with bright, eye-catching colors, supposed to attract the readers attention. I had thought they stopped that in high school, but I guess not. Not many people were in the isle, really only me and a few more. I followed the sign to the University section and sighed, seeing the many names of classes, that being a freshman on campus, embarrassingly confused me.

I skimmed and finally found the dull red cover I needed for my Anatomy class. I was thinking of becoming a trainer for sports maybe but I wasn't sure to be truly honest. I reached out, but saw him do the same, and pulled back, only for him to do the same again. The hand and I had reached for the same book, and I followed his arm to the huge figure standing beside me. His shirt read YOU COMPLETE MEss, and I couldn't help but smirk at the slightly complex meaning of it. When my eyes reached his, we both froze and giggled a little.

"Excuse me, sorry about that." he said, accent completely wrong for being here.

"No, I'm sorry! I don't want to take your book." I said, feeling myself blush. He smiled and I noticed a tiny black lip ring encircling his bottom lip. He was extremely attractive, his blonde hair sweeping up, giving him an extreme height. He looked so wide I could only wonder how he fits through doors. His smile was bright but small, and quickly fading and in my brain I felt the need to see it again.

"So you need this book? I'm assuming you have this class." I asked, him nodding to the first answer and quickly becoming unhappy.

"Yes, I got stuck in the class, which I know I'll probably fail. And you have this class too?" He asked me.

"I do. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7 to 2." I rambled on. With every word, his face began to light up more and more.

"I do too." he said quietly with a smile. His eyes stood high above me, staring at something behind me. I turned around and saw the owner of the small book store glaring us down. I turned back around and stuck my hand out to the giant.

"I'm Tristan."

"Nice to meet you Tristan, I'm Luke."

"What other classes do you have?" He asked me.

"Only some extreme Maths class." I answered dully. Maths was not my forte.

"I have that too. On Monday only." he said.

"Oh well I have it Fridays, and that's it for the semester." I answered.

"What's it?"

I spun in my heel, feeling my hair whip around. Icy blue eyes stared barely above me, his hands full of two books.

"Oh, um, Niall, this is Luke. He's in one of my classes." I spun back around, pulling Niall up to where I was standing and noticed him still staring at Luke. "And Luke, this is Niall, my.. uh, roommate." I said, without control of my mouth. I saw Niall flinch under the meaningless word, and luckily Luke was looking at me and not him at the time. I thought to myself, I might have just broken Niall.

"Well, it's nice to meet both of you, and I have to go, but classes start next week and I'm not entirely sure where the building is, so uh, could I have your number, and maybe we could find class together?" he rambled, catching and holding my attention until the end.

"Oh, ya sure." I said holding out the phone I was white-knuckling inside of my pocket. He smiled without teeth and entered his number, promptly sending a text to himself so he had my number. I blushed when we touched hands as he handed it back, the slight smile still playing on his lips. I waved as he walked out, almost completely forgetting about Niall.

Almost.
