"Ugh, Mom this is so unfair!!! Couldn't we at least have waited until the end of the school year?!?!" That's me. Grace Tacker. And my life just went the other way it's supposed to be going.

"No Gracie. We have to leave by the end of week. Your father has a big movie to direct in LA next month and he has to learn about the cast before he can actually direct. We would've moved earlier but we didn't have somewhere to stay." My mom, Amy, said.

"Well why can't I stay here? I'm sure Emma's parents wouldn't mind if I stayed with them."

"We're aren't separating the family just because your stubborn. Now hurry up and pack or you're going to LA with nothing."

"Grrrrrrrrr."

Everyone else was ecstatic to be moving to Los Angeles except me. My dad, Jackson, finally got another big break in directing and my mom would be teaching an art class. Next to that, my brother, Will, and sister, Layla, were practically screaming with joy about going to a new school.

It was a preppy, private school that I wanted nothing to do with. I was totally fine with the little school here, in Tennessee. I rarely fit in with crowd here, let alone a gigantic school in a new place.

So here I am packing my things for death. Yeah I said it. This move can and will be my death.
