At the airport, I kept hearing my name being called. It sounded like Tanner and that's when I realized I was going mad and needed to leave ASAP.
"GRACE! GRACIE!"
Just don't think about it. Just don't think about it.
"GRACIE!!"
You can't cry. Not now. Not here.
"GRACE!!!"
The tears were coming. I could feel my face getting hotter and hotter. I turned around one last time just to make sure. It was all in my head.
I woke with a jolt. I was already on the plane. It was all just a bad dream. My friends called me and said goodbye again. I never got a word from Tanner again.
We landed in Los Angeles a few hours later. I didn't go back to sleep, in fear of dreaming of Him.
I was dying to sleep but I couldn't.We arrived at our "home" and unpacked immediately. I got the biggest bedroom, aside the master, because I hated this enough to get first pick. My furniture was already in place. I had new furniture. A full sized bed. A flat screen TV. A full length mirror. A closet the size of my room back at my true home.
Well, I guess I should get used to this. Hello LA. Goodbye normality.
