Sophie

After they started playing, and the game got more intense, I decided to start preparing lunch. Roxie followed right behind, using one side of the countertops while I used the other. Some of the workers had brought two stovetop's for us to work in. I grabbed my camera and snapped a few pictures of them playing, but making sure to keep an eye on the patties.

I prepared the meat by seasoning it and making the patties one by one. Roxie was doing the same, and it honestly looked like she was doing a good job. Midway towards the food preparations, the boys decided to take a water break. They all ran to fill up on water and went back to start another game. Logan came behind me, slapping my butt really hard. I winced at the burn of his slap and turned to see a big smile on his face.

"Logan?" he chuckles, pulling me by my waist and kissing me. "Having a little too much fun out there, aren't you?" I say as I place my hands on his chest, "pff, why, because of Kyle? He's a man, he can take it. He's fine, babe. Just a .ittle game, that's all." He replies grabbing a bottle of water with his free hand and chugging it. He drops the rest of the water on top of his head and shakes his head, wetting me as he chuckles. "Logan?" he chuckles and kisses my nose. "You're such a dork." I sneer at him.

"Mommy, can I play too?" Nate asks making my eyes go wide in worry. "Umm, sweetheart, I'm not sure it would be such a good idea. I-"

"Nonsense, come on buddy, let's go play some football," Logan replies lifting him and sitting him over his shoulders. "Logan, no, he can get hurt." I worried the guys would be too rough and hurt him. "Baby, it'll be fine, I'll make sure he doesn't get hurt, ok?" he says as he winks and walks back towards the area they were playing.

I continue cooking, glancing over towards the game, hoping they won't be too rough, but to my surprise, the game turned more playful than before. The guys loved Nathan and they were helping him play, messing around, and playing like little kids.

Roxie and I prepared a bunch of burgers, though I knew Logan would not like mustard on his burgers, so I made them with a different dressing his mom had taught me to do back in high school. It was so good, I actually started making it at the coffee shop I worked in California, it was a big hit. I placed the burgers for him with the same dressing on a separate plate and made two burgers for Nate with only the meat, the dressing, and cheese, just like my baby liked them.

Then, I prepared mine and Ash, with the works and extra pickles for Ash as she likes them.

The workers had come and set up the dining table for us, along with drinks, appetizers, and a tray with fruit. Which, I knew, Logan and Nate would attack that tray. Something else they have in common, they both love eating fruit.

Just as the game ended, Meghan and the rest of the group got here, including Sam's girlfriend and Meghan's boyfriend.

The boys came back from the game, and everyone began to sit around, grabbing burgers, and other side dishes to accompany the burger. Logan realized that all the burgers that Roxie had done had mustard, and yes, all the other burgers I did had mustard as well. He came close to me as I grabbed the plates I did separately and whispered, "Babe, you put mustard on them? You know I hate eating mustard on my-" he says as I lift his plate in front of me, making him smile. "Mm, thanks, baby girl. I'm starving."
