"I'm off, Kotaro...Don't, mess the house up!" Okimi yelled towards the kitchen where a lot of banging and cursing could be heard.

"Huh?" glancing back to the sound, she saw the frosted tipped hair of the boy, followed by a look of confusion on his face. "Where are you goin'?" the rest of his body followed, as the over 6ft male stormed towards his sister. The question earned him an eye roll from the shorter female that was his younger sister.

"A date," glaring up as he came to tower over her, he wasn't exactly a fan of her boyfriend and had made it very clear that he thought Gin was an ass. "Remember, he said he has planned Christmas eve so asked if we could meet tonight instead?" it was a rhetorical question as she knew full well that she'd told him a hundred times.

"What? You're not staying for the PARTAYYYY of the year?" dancing like an idiot at the girl, you heard footsteps down the hall. Okimi knew who it was before she saw the handsome, emotionless face of Akaashi, her older brother's best friend.

"Stop harassing your sister," his voice calm with a small playful hint to it, as his blue eyes glanced briefly at the curvy girl before going to the annoying older male.

"What you knew, Akaashi?" Bokuto really had forgotten, having been so concerned in getting some of his old volleyball friends for what he was going to call the first of many pre-Christmas parties. It had been a few years since he'd finished school, Okimi and Akaashi had finished the year after being in the same year.

Kotaro and Akaashi were in the same University, but Okimi had moved further away, only coming back for the Christmas holidays. Over the last few years, she'd been in a long-term relationship with her high school sweetheart, Gin. Tonight would be the first time she would see the guy that Kotaro said was a slimy snake after 4 months.

Whereas her brother had decided to throw a bash like no other since the parents of the siblings wouldn't be home for Xmas. The golden-eyed man had invited a few of his friends from around Japan and she had decided to not stay, the only ones she'd really met was Akaashi and some of the other volleyball members of her old high school.

Most of his friends weren't even aware that the ace had a younger sister. Although upon meeting her they would know that she was some relation, mostly due to the big golden eyes and the grey hair with black streaks but was long and straight. That was all though, as unlike him Okimi was around 5ft 2, with a very curvy figure that a lot of men would die for. She'd used to be slimmer when she first met Gin, but puberty had hit given her an ass and pair of tits to make a grown man drool into submission if she so wished to do so.

"Yes. I have more than just air between my ears," the smart remark went over the older man's head. The younger two just looked at each other, rolling their eyes before the handsome black-haired man put a large hand on the girl's shoulder. "Have fun," a small smile briefly crossed his lips but never met his blue eyes.

The touch on her shoulder sent little sparks down Okimi's body, the woman finding it hard to contain the fact that she had a crush on her brother's best friend. It had been that way since the moment Kotaro brought him to the house after practice, then she found out he was in her year. Yet, she never acted on it due to not wanting to cause issues for her sibling if it didn't work out.

"Thanks, Akaashi. Make sure everything stays in one piece. I'm not cleaning up after you all." Beaming up at the tall man, a light dusting on her cheeks. The comment made them both laugh whilst Kotaro looked between the two of them suspiciously. It was like the exchange was going on a little longer than it needed to.

"Are you goin' or stayin'?" the abrupt question made the curvy woman jump a little.

"Yep goin'!" it came out a little more startled than Okimi would have desired. Flustered, she grabbed her overnight bag, expecting to stay with her boyfriend that night before turning to leave.

Briefly, she stopped gazing back over her shoulder. "Don't expect me back tonight," a smirk played along her lips before she left the house.

"Do you like my sister?" a curious tone was fired at the man, still staring at the door curvaceous woman had just vanished through.

"What?" the blue eyes darted to look anywhere but at the golden ones staring intently at him. "Well..." before he could finish, he was saved by a phone ringing. "Shouldn't you answer that?" glancing to the older man's pocket, then to his face.

"Oh yeh," that made Bokuto lose focus on the question to answer the call. "Oi oi oi," speaking into the device, the spikey-haired male walked back towards the kitchen. As soon as he walked away, Akaashi stood there for a moment letting go of a deep breath that he'd held to hide his true feelings.

"Fuck," letting out a breath, he turned to go into the kitchen to continue helping Bokuto. It wasn't long until the first of the guests began to arrive. A lot of them would no doubt end up crashing for the night, but some may make it back to their hotels. There was a few that, whilst Akaashi saw them as friends, it was a relief Okimi wasn't there. It would have been no doubt that a couple of the guys would have definitely hit on the curvaceous beauty.

"AKKASSSSHIII!" Bokuto's voice made the guy jump out of his skin as he stood spaced out, pouring drink all on the side.

"Shit," cursing, he cleaned the side before trying to think of anything that didn't involve the desirable hottie, and what she would no doubt be up to with that ass of a boyfriend. Running his hand through his messy black hair, he chose to think of anything but Okimi.

Meanwhile, Okimi sat on the bus making her way into town to meet up with Gin. The girl was completely unsure of what the plan was. All Gin had told her was that he wanted to see her tonight and to meet at 7 pm by the big Christmas tree in town. It sounded extremely romantic. However, as she sat on the bus, her mind wandered to Akaashi and the tingling feeling still on her shoulder from his touch.

All of a sudden after losing track of her surrounding, she was brought back by the calling out of her stop to get off. Quickly grabbing the overnight bag, Okimi made her way off the bus and headed towards the destination.

A chill in the air had the threat of snow upon it. Thankful she'd worn a coat, but a little annoyed that Gin wouldn't see the new top she'd purchased just for him. Well, not until they would no doubt be going back to his house.

Christmas lights sparkled in the shop windows and around the trees of the town.

The night felt like it would be a magical romantic one.
