The cold feeling in Okimi's body was beginning to subside with each massive gulp of prosecco that she necked. At some point, she'd begun to walk back towards her house again and by the time she had gotten to the end of her drive, the bottle was empty. The pain of the heartbreak she had been feeling was not gone, the rage she was feeling had become more fired up and the urge to try to get some reassurance that it wasn't her that was shit in the sack, was all running throw her muddle mind.
The path to her house was white with the glittering snow that was still falling. Each footstep she took had a crunch, a satisfying sound but Okimi was in no mood to appreciate how beautiful the night was. It felt like the worst night in the world to her and the sound of faint music from the house jogged her memory of the party happening inside.
Taking a deep breath, trying to steady herself on her unsteady feet her hand reached for the handle. Before she could open the door, the sound of crunching snow under very aggressive footsteps echoed behind her. Snapping her head to the sound, the sight of an extremely cold, pissed of Gin was walking up the drive.
It was clear she'd hit a nerve by saying he had a tiny dick, sure it was average, nothing to cry home about. It had been a little mean of her but what did she care, she'd broken up with him. Quickly, pulling the door open alas before she can step through it, she dragged by coat out into the coldness of the night. Still holding onto the door handle, it slams as Okimi is snatched back but not able to keep your grip.
"Get the fuck off me, Gin!" trying not to slur her words and failing miserably, the guy is leading the beauty away from the house.
"We didn't finish our conversation and we're not doin' that here," through gritted teeth, Gin tried to rush her down the slippery path, whilst Okimi is thrashing around to get from the man's death of a vice on your coat.
Dropping your bag, she quickly unzips herself fumbling a few times like a virgin on prom night trying to undo their zipper. Already instead on her feet, she somehow manages to yank herself out of the material landing flat on her front only just managing to cover her face with your hands.
Part of her brain made note that it was going to hurt a ton more than the slight sting on her grazed palms and knees. The wetness of the ground instantly soaked her front to the bone.
"Get the fuck up...you fuckin' state," Gin growled dragging Okimi to her feet as light from the door caught her attention.
"Oi, Oi Oi!" the sound of her brother's loud voice is like music to Okimi's ears for the first time ever. The noise of the door slamming had alerted everyone inside, Bokuto then came rushing to see who had the nerve to slam it. Akaashi had been right by his side as they looked on at the scene in front of them.
As far as the two men know, was that shewas going out on a date with Gin and staying at his. However, right now that was very far from the truth. They'd just witnessed Okimi fall flat on her face on the ground whilst Gin was cursing at the poor girl. It was clear from the look in her eyes she wanted to be anywhere, but near the man, they knew to be her boyfriend.
"This is none of your business, Bokuto. Okimi and I need to have a discussion," Gin aggressively warned the taller guy. Of course, that didn't make her sibling or his best friend falter in his steps. There were a few others with them now, but she had no clue who they were since she'd never met any of the other friends apart from those in the Fukordani volley boy team.
"Doesn't look like Okimi wants to go with you Gin," Akaashi voice sounded out clear hatred for the man in his voice. The black-haired man's stride was quicker than your brothers, Okimi's heart skipping a beat at how he was defending her.
"Shut up, Akaashi! You always did have a thing for my girl," Gin was getting more annoyed but he wasn't stupid. "Why don't you take the little slut," Gin shoved you so hard that you knew you were going to fall again. Making her peace with her impending doom to the floor, she braced herself but instead of hitting stone again. The warmth of a body was there instead.
Glancing up Okimi saw Akaashi's blue eyes staring down at her then back to Gin who was now turning to walk away.
"You ok?" Akaashi held a soft kindness when he spoke to her, gazing from Okimi to the retreating man.
"Yeh," a hushed sound as he helped to steady the woman on her feet before the two of them turned to glance at Gin backing away.
"See you can have her she was trash anyway," it was nasty and vicious, sending her drunken rage into overdrive as she felt her brother next to her go to launch at the man, Okimi held him back.
"Kimi," Kōtarō looked angrier than you'd ever seen him, the fact he was being quiet show just the level of anger he was feeling. It wasn't his fight though, and Dutch courage was flowing through the woman's veins as she pushed away from Akaashi.
"Oi small, dicked asshole! My coat! Or are you gonna give it to your new slag! Do they know you had a girlfriend?!" screaming at the top of her lungs, everyone was stunned, and Gin even stopped to look at you, storming towards him like a whirlwind, snatching her coat from his hand.
Before anyone could stop Okimi, her fist connected with his jaw and in shock, he fell backwards flat on his ass.
"Kōtarō someone had been chucking trash on the garden again," she snorted before stumbling back to the house in desperate need of a shower and forgetting the pain in her hands and knees.
Everyone stands stunned looking from you to the man stumbling to get up before they turn their backs on him.
Akaashi on the other hand had already begun to follow the curvy form from the moment you'd started to storm up the path, watching to make sure that you didn't fall over again as he could see that her knee at least was bleeding and he wanted to make sure that he was the first one the beauty spoke to. As he was following he did overhear Bokuto explaining to the other guests that Okimi was his little sister and that the dick she'd punched was her boyfriend...well ex-boyfriend!
'I should give her space right?' thinking to himself, the messy-haired man wanted so much to spill his feelings for you. Yet tonight probably wasn't the best time. Firstly, she'd just been in a messy break-up and secondly, she wasn't sober and he wasn't one to take advantage, but if Okimi asked him he'd be in her bed before she would finish. Showing the short woman exactly how much she drove him crazy every time he saw her.
Right now though, his protective nature was in overdrive as he needed to check the cuts on her tiny hands and knees to make sure that it wasn't anything serious. However, when he got in the house the sound of a door upstairs slamming closed him off from his mission and the nail in the coffin was Bokuto putting an arm around his shoulder.
"Yo Akaashi, where'd the tiny terror go?" the man's voice was playful but there was clearly a hint of concern in his tone.
"Up there," pointing in the woman's direction, he was patted on the back as Bokuto ran up the stairs, leaving Akaashi to host the party for the moment. Of course, a lot of the guys wanted to know about the Bokuto woman as no one, not from their school had met the fiery-tempered woman. Part of him didn't want to tell them anything as they would no doubt they would make a move.
'I'll keep her away from them,' was the last thing he thought before Bokuto came down the stairs looking dejected that his sister had told him to get lost and she didn't need his help.
"Akaashiiii, go tell her to let me help her!" Bokuto's voice was whiney, but his friend had just given him the perfect opportunity to speak to Okimi and hopefully tell her a little of the feelings he's been harbouring for her for the last few years.
