Kenma wasn't wanting to be at a Christmas party at Boukto but here he was sat talking to Hinata. It wasn't that he didn't enjoy the bouncy, energetic ball of sunshine, however, he wasn't feeling very festive. Uni work was fine but boring, and all he wanted to do was play his new game. Yet, Kuroo had dragged him out after confiscating his Switch, to make sure that he communicated with people at the party.

Now he stood glaring at Kuroo as Hinata filled the little pudding head in about how he was doing at Uni and how he had joined the volleyball team. Of course, Kenma spoke to him and filled him in about uni, telling him how dull it is. Lev was also joining in on the conversation to break up the conversation, but still, after a bit, all Kenma wanted to do was find a quiet corner to play his game.

'Surely I've spoken enough,' Groaning in frustration he excused himself to walk over the taller man and his best friend.

"Kuroo can I have my game back now?" pouting up at the man, who smirked mischievously down at him. Clearly not willing to reward the man young adult for communicating to other human beings that weren't on the other end of a computer screen.

"Have you said hello to everyone, pudding head?" teasing tones, played off the older man's words.

"Kurooo!" Groaning loudly, he was about to start moaning louder before the front door slammed. Bokuto who was also stood with Kuroo joining in on the tease, whilst Akaashi looked bored both turned to the sound. The duo moved swiftly to the door before a whole commotion started outside with what Kenma could tell was that Bokuto had a sister, who looked a little drunk and her boyfriend, possibly ex-boyfriend was causing a scene.

As he watched with cat-like curiosity, his big eyes caught a more interesting sight in the form of hs switch sticking out of Kuroo's back pocket. Whilst his best friend was distracted, he slowly walked up and with great care stealthy slide the device out of the man's pocket and tucked it into his hoody pocket with his hands. 

There was a lot of screaming, then a punch to the guy that clearly had been cheating on Bokuto's sister and it was over. The guy was flat on his arse, with the woman running into the house with Akaashi extremely close, Kenma noted.

"Well, that was dramatic," Kuroo cooed for the entertainment. "Bloody cold," the bed-headed man stated. "Oh, Kenma don't think I didn't feel you," the hazel eyes looking down on the uninterested smaller male.

"So," Kenma shrugged, making his way back into the house to grab a drink and to find a very quiet corner to continue with his game until a female presence he didn't know caught his attention.

Ariel wasn't one for leaving mid-game for anyone, but her flatmates came barging into her room flopping on the bed.

"Whatcha doin'?" Kaysha purred, knowing full well that the woman was deep in a game of some sort.

"What does it look like?" Ariel's blueish grey eyes never left the bright colourful screen. A tiny hand covering the screen caught her attention though. A glare was thrown at the other woman with ice blue eyes and reddish-orange hair. Kaysha however, burst out laughing at the third daring roommate, who clearly had a death wish by interrupting the gamer.

"Woah! Kaylea did you grow some balls!" Kaysha snorted the tiny redhead shrugging before realising the error of her way, removing the said hand from the screen.

"I heard there was a party...booze not many ladies a complete sausage fest and basically I haven't been laid in a whillllleeee!" groaning at the two, Kaysha nodding in happy agreement, whereas Ariel whilst her interest piqued by the sound of guys, wasn't feeling the whole party vibe.

Ariel carefully placed the switch down on her lap, glaring at the two invading her bubble before running a hand through her short purple bob hair. "I don't care. It's cold...I'm in pj's and I can't be fucked to socialise," it was the truth and a matter of fact.

"Don't be a grinch! Be a wing woman!" Kaysha moaned, pleading with a very uninterested woman. "Kaylea, promises that she won't disturb you gaming for a whole week?" Kaysha added, now that caught the purple, curvy babes' attention.

"Yeh well, Kaysha won't come in either and tell you random facts about her latest ships...and theories," Kaylea added wiggle her eyebrows at the two women. The three of them, were very much three amigos when it came to men in anime. "When you're gaming anyways...as let us be honest we all need to release the simp in us," Kayles added winking a frosty blue eye at Kaysha.

"Add cookies and I might come...freshly baked cookies," Ariel eyed the two women who jumped the woman squealing and pinning her to her bed.

"Get off me, idiots!" groaning in protest of being hugged but secretly loving her two besties. "By the way, who messaged you?" curious at where the party was and who had informed the two-party animals of the get-together.

"That would be Kaylea's friend Yukie." Kaysha pointed to the smaller trio in height, all three of the women curvy in all the right ways but all slightly different, but beauties in their own right.

"Yeh, I met her at some sports thing I went to with an ex a few years back and just hit it off," Kaylea shrugged, as she'd not seen that ex in a while since he was very set on his sports career over her. There was a lot of emotions not gone for the man.

"Ok. Do I need to dress up?" Ariel was still not wanting to go, "Can I bring my Switch in case its shit?" she smirked, as she felt if there were guys there then Kaylea would no doubt vanish pretty quickly if she could, as, after the heartbreak, she had ploughed her way through a number of men. Kaysha would be looking for a challenge no doubt meaning that she would be left to small talk. Not wanting to do that, Ariel wanted a backup in the form of a digital device.

"Fine. Wear whatever, I guess. It's at a house plus it's fuckin' freezing," Kaylea groaned, it was not that far away though so a plus.

"I'll be ready in 30 mins," Ariel groaned, wanting to have a shower before being put in an uncomfortable situation no doubt. That was all she needs to say for the other two ladies to bolt out of the room to rush getting ready within the time frame.

Before Ariel knows it, the trio is shivering the 10 min walk towards the party and getting there, they stand back watching the drama unfold as a girl punches a guy before storming off followed by a guy with black hair and then another with silver and black hair. Clearly, they'd missed something huge and would be wanting to be filled in on the drama from Yukie before they would mingle.

However, everyone seems to be walking back in the house not noticing the trio on their way up the path. Ariel feels a little anxious, although notices Kaylea is on the phone before putting it down and running up the path. Almost slipping, towards a slightly taller woman with reddish-brown hair who is just as excited to see Kaylea.

'Here we go,' the woman groans to herself as she clings to Kaysha arm, in an attempt to not fall and if she did, she was taking the mousy brown-haired woman she clung to with her.

*** As you may have noticed I'm doing Oc's however, I'm hoping you can read them as a reader as well. As you can see the story is linked so I can't do reader as it will get very confusing but it can be read as you as the reader, it just for ease of the flow of the story to follow***
