It was about an hour, Ariel and Kenma were very comfortable in one another's company and ignoring the rest of the party. However, that wasn't long-lived as a few people had barged in practically giving the couple a sex show nearly before even realising the two were sitting staring at them. Whenever a couple would leave the room, the couple would burst out laughing before they went straight back to their game.

"So, I gotta ask? Did you also get dragged here as well?" the blueish grey eyes flicking to meet the gold ones glancing at them.

"How you guess?" Kenma said with no emotion in his voice, as it was obvious, he'd not previously wanted to be there. However, right now he was actually having a great time with the beautiful woman, who was funny and so relaxed that he didn't feel the need to be anyone but himself.

"I guess it was the fact you looked for the first opportunity to escape to a quiet room to game...or the fact you looked pissed when your friend walked in," a smirk played along the woman's plump lips. "Because that is exactly what I did," she giggled and the sound was like heavenly bells, making the guy's cheeks blush ever so slightly.

Ariel had noticed the blush, wondering if the room had gotten a little hotter but the way Kenma's eyes kept glancing to her eyes and then going to her lips. Part of her wanted to lean forward and kiss the guy but the other part didn't want to ruin the evening that she was having in the company of a guy that was into the same things as her. Kenma noticed that he was staring at her luscious lips wanting to see if Ariel tasted as sweet as she looked and smelt. Instantly his gaze turned back to the game.

"I guess that makes sense." Shrugging he tried to appear as if he'd not momentarily been staring at the woman's lips. "Why are you here? I've never seen you at any volleyball games in the past or are you from one of the schools?" He questioned but then remembered the woman giving Kuroo the third degree about Kaylea. A girl he'd met a few years back, but he knew full well she'd broken up with Kuroo for something or another. For the life of him, he couldn't remember why, but from what he recalled, his best friend was the one heartbroken, not Kaylea.

"My friend has a friend that invited us," sighing, she placed the Switch on her lap. "I think her ex that she never got over is here. You know that guy that came in earlier." standing up, Ariel stretched her body out, having been sitting in the same position for at least an hour and a half. At that time neither of her friends had come to search for her. That could only mean one thing, she had to go see if they were ok and if they were she could escape the party and head home.

"Oh. I don't know what happened, but they were dating. She broke up with Kuroo not the other way around," Kenma stood as well, stretching his arm and placing the switch in his pocket. "I guess we should at least go see if we can escape yet," a playful smirk crossed his lips, "Since neither of us truly wants to be here. I can walk you home then head home as well." Kenma suggested.

Ariel glanced at the guy with blonde hair and black roots was a short bob style and suited him, he was slender compared to her curvy form but the way he held himself showed he lacked some confidence, the same as her.

"I'd like that," The woman flushed, her brain going a little crazy as part of her didn't want the night to end at all. It was the most fun she'd had at something like this in a long time and having someone there as Kenma had helped. The man was handsome, smart, and kind, everything that ticked her box and the fact he loved gaming was an absolute win. The insecure part of her thought there was no chance that she could ever land a guy like Kenma and he was just being friendly with her.

As the door of their sanctuary opened, the sound of the rest of the house was extremely noisy but a lot of the noise was coming from one direction. Ariel looked in the kitchen first, as that was the last place, she'd seen the two women that had accompanied her. Even though she didn't find the two of them, more people had arrived that she'd never seen before.
