Kuroo couldn't believe that Yukie had done this. Part of him wanted to kiss her and another part of him wanted to smack her and ask what the fuck she was thinking. Kaylea had changed the colour of her hair, but that wasn't uncommon. Red suited the normally dark brunette, it made the ice blue of her eyes pop against her milky white skin. The last three years had been kind to the woman's body developing more curves than he knew what he could do with. Thick thighs, big hips, an ass that he wanted to spank and then the boobs they'd become more voluptuous since he last saw her. Even with all of these features, the one that always caught him off guard dug deep into his soul was the ice blue eyes. Depending on the weather, they would sparkle in different ways.

The way she'd blush or get flustered made them so striking to the point he was convinced sometimes Kaylea was wearing contacts, but he knew that wasn't true. Right now though, he stood a distance away with his friends watching as Kaylea enjoyed the company of the Miya twins. Downing shot, but never truly enjoyed the company she was with.

Clearly trying to distract herself but he knew his gaze was making the woman uncomfortable, not allowing her to get on with her night as he had intended to get on with his. In his head, he knew that pursuing her again would possibly end in rejection, more heartache and pain. That was the problem though, his heart was telling him that is craved the woman's touch. The way that she'd run her delicate fingers through his messy bedhead when they lost a game, telling him that everything will be ok and they will win the next one. Kaylea had always been there on the sidelines, cheering him and his team on but never getting under his feet or too clingy in public, unless on a date.

A lot of the guys didn't know who Kuroo's woman had been until he'd point her out, but when she did come to any Nekoma events, she would be polite and smile. Understanding Kenma's need to not do things he wouldn't want to as well, his best friend had liked her. Said that she was very kind and sweet to him once. Bringing those memories to the forefront of his mind stung, everything they'd done together. Being each other's first must have put a constant notch on his heart that would never be whole without her.

Noticing Atsumu placing a hand on the delicate of her skin made Kuroo's blood boil, his foot moving forward before he stopped in his track.

"Yo, you seen Akaashi?" Bokuto's voice brought him back, turning to see the tall silver and black-haired man looking concerned.

"Nah, didn't he go to check on your sister?" that brought a smirk to Kuroo's lip. "Wanna go find him?" the man was devious and part of him wanted to see Bokuto's reaction if what he thought was most likely happening between the woman and man was. Clearly, Tsukishima had also worked out the situation, which didn't surprise the middle blocker but when Hinata popped up he thought the little ginger could do with having his eyes opened to the world.

"I'm sure I saw them go upstairs last," Tsukishima insinuated and Kuroo had all on keeping his laugh in.

"Let's go!" Bokuto declared, the four of them beginning to wander up the stairs. Before leaving his spot, Kuroo braved one more look in the direction of Kaylea as she listened to the twin saying something before, he couldn't take it and followed the trio up the stairs. Of course, getting up there was hilarious as they walked in on Okimi Bokuto and Akaashi just after they'd finished fucking in the bathroom.

This was going to be ammo for the rest of the night to wind the ace up with, but he knew that Bokuto wouldn't want a better partner for his sister. Akaashi whilst a sarcastic fuck at times but was also a decent guy and would take care of Okimi. Bokuto was most likely imagining them being brothers in law as the best thing ever.

Thinking of weddings, Kuroo placed a longing hand over his wallet where the ring he'd brought sat in the zip part. He'd kept it with him as a reminder not to rush anything that was worth holding onto. That's why whenever a girl was on the scene they didn't really stop around that long. Part of him knew they weren't her, as much as he tried not to compare, he couldn't not. They'd been deeply in love and very attune with one another's bodies, from what they enjoyed to what they hated. Kaylea always fucked with his asshole pretending to shove a finger in, even though he hated it.

"Earth to rooster head!" Hinata was loud and Kuroo groaned before turning his gaze down the ginger.

"What's up Chibi-Chan?" the taller man asked, as it was clear that Hinata had a question.

"Have you seen Kenma?" That had Kuroo panicked. Shaking his head, he went in search of the shorter guy. Finding him and realising that the switch had been removed from his back pocket. Clearly, he'd been too preoccupied that the device had been swiped.

The room the coats were stored was the ultimate hiding place for his best friend. Instantly, he dragged a stunned Bokuto down the stairs, passed him a beer and went to find Kenma. Kaylea had noticed that Kuroo had come downstairs looking more annoyed. Watching him go to the kitchen, then vanishing towards a room. Now was going to be the best time to speak to him than any.

"Excuse me a moment," tapping Kaysha shoulder her friend nodded before continuing to talk to a redhead called Called Tendou, whilst a taller guy who looked stern watching over them called Ushijima. The Miya twins also hadn't given up their chance with the woman, which they clearly thought would give them a good time.

"Ok babe. Be here if you need me," the tone of her voice gave the impression she knew where Kaylea was heading. All the girl did was nod before heading to the last place she'd seen Ariel escape and then go from there.

Kuroo was filling a doorway, not seeing or hearing the woman approach. Kaylea had to hold a laugh when she heard a very annoyed Ariel, and could only imagine the look she was giving her handsome ex.

"Why don't you go stare at my friend Kaylea some more like a creeper? Also, if you do anything to piss her off or hurt her tonight. Whatever background you have. I will hunt you down and hang you from a telephone pole by your testicles," it was clear she was annoyed and go into her momma bear mode.

"Tch! Catch ya later, pudding head," Kuroo spun, making Kaylea lean to the side of the wall. It was clear he'd not spotted her when he slammed the door. A few people turned to glare at him, but just as he went to walk away, he jumped in surprise.

"You know, she really will hang you by your balls," Kaylea's smug voice called out to him, like a siren's song on his heart. It was leading him to danger and ruin, but still, he couldn't retreat and as soon as his hazel eyes locked onto the ice blue ones he began to drown in his feelings.

"Hey little kitten, you come to sharpen your claws some more on my heart?" his words cold but in his mind just. This made the look of amusement on her face contort into anger, as she pushed off the wall.

"Maybe. But you're the one that's a coward." she mused, walking up to where he stood his ground. Curious at the tone, but also the words. Hadn't she broken up with him? "No message, no call and I wasn't allowed to see mummy's precious little boy for him to just dump me without giving me time to think," the venom slip from her mouth, three-year-old wounds slipping before he watched her walk towards her friend and a group of guys that he knew would want to show her a goodnight.

'She's mine,' he growled internally before going to rip her back.

"Why don't you play a little truth or dare beer pong, my man?" Bokuto stood staring in the direction his friend glared a huge grin plastering his face.

"Ya know what, that sounds like a plan you Horned Owl Bastard," Kuroo smirked heading towards where a beer pong table was set up, Tanaka currently facing off against Yamamoto.

"I've got next game," Kuroo smirked at the two a wicked plan forming in his mind.
