Bokuto was a bit blue this Christmas eve after everyone seemed to be hooking up over the festive period thanks to his party. Including his own sister with his best friend. Also, it wasn't really his influence Kaylea, Ariel, and Kaysha to arrive at his party. That had been Yukie, but he was talking as if he was the mastermind behind the idea.

What pissed him off was that even Oikawa and Iwa seemed to have someone that they bumped into. However, the man decided to tag along with the group and for some reason so had Tsukishima. If you were to look on at the group it was very obvious who exactly was in some form of relationship from the way they looked at each other, body language and in Kaylea and Kuroo's case clung to one another.

They were walking towards the first stop being Karaoke when a woman in front of them dropped an overnight bag whilst also trying to pull along two suitcases. It was clear that she was in some form of distress, but they were currently walking through a mostly residential area.

"Yo...Miss, you dropped this!" Bokuto called out to the woman scooping the bag up and jogging a little to catch the smaller woman before she turned a corner. Stopping instantly, the woman turned to look back her head cocking in confusion for a second before rubbing her already puffy eyes as if she was seeing a hallucination as Bokuto closed the gap.

"Here. You need a hand we're heading that way?" the man with frosted tips questioned, getting a closer look at the woman staring at him as the rest of the group caught up. Something about the woman he looked down on looked familiar. Shaking her head, she held a hand out, to grab the bag back.

"I'm fine. Thank you," quickly snatching it, he spun back around and gripped all the bags to continue on her way. It shocked Bokuto and the others, as they watched a moment as the woman's pace seemed to speed up.

"Wait!" Bokuto suddenly started to speed after the female who glanced back her (e/c) eye going wide before continuing to walk. "Please I need to ask you something?" a little desperation in his voice, the man ignored the group calling out to him.

"Sorry...I really need to be off...train to catch," it was a lie, as she was going to head home to her parents and then work out what to do next.

"Please it will take literally a moment of your time?" Bokuto was fast but something about this woman had put her on edge, it was making it more and more clear that she was the woman he thought she was.

"Sorry not buying what you're selling!" she called back, so focused on looking back not noticing the person step in front of her until her name halted her to an abrupt stop.

"(y/n), what are you doin'?" Terushima's voice rang out, panic flaring in her stomach and making her feel sick. Even though last night he'd broken up with her, then they had amazing break-up sex, he wasn't there in the morning when she woke, she'd not got the balls to stay around anymore.

"Leaving," she spat, nervous at her own harshness, as the man had never lifted a finger but the things, he'd said last night hurt. Bokuto had stopped glancing at the man now towering over the woman he was previously in pursuit of. Sure that he knew him but not where from, but his attention was on the woman that reminded him so much of his high school crush.

"Why? We made up, didn't we?" the man leant down the woman's face and ran a pierced tongue across her lips as she recoiled.

"No, we didn't back the fuck off," shoving him, the woman stormed towards her previous destination before he grabbed her arm.

"Get your ass back home now!" growling he began to pull roughly on the woman's slender arm before a hand gripped his wrist. (y/n)'s eyes went wide as she looked from Terushima to a man that looked so much like the man she'd dreamt of last night from her past.

"What the fuck ya doin' man?" Terushima spat his eyes gazing over the man gripping his wrist, realisation setting in on who it was. "Bokuto? What's the deal?" confused but not letting go of the woman's arm.

"I don't think she wants to go with you man?" golden eyes turned towards the now moon size (e/c) ones staring at him before back to the aggressive man. The sound of more hurried footsteps caught Terushima's attention causing his grip to release on the woman's.

"Tch! You're not worth it anyway." going to walk away, Terushima is yanked back.

"Apologise," Bokuto's sound was the low growl of a wolf, stunning the group now arriving.

"Dude let me the fuck go. You don't even have a clue what you're stickin' your nose in." the other man snarled in response. Bokuto clearly didn't care but as he looked at the woman, she had started to bolt. Growling he let go of the man who in turn stomped in the opposite direct cursing as he went.

"(Y/N)! Wait up!" Bokuto demand as the woman didn't look back this time and just carried on walking, but he knew he'd caught her attention as there was a slight falter in her step on the snowy street. "The (y/n) I know wouldn't have put up with that shit!" yelling it was causing a scene.

"Yeah, well I'm clearly not that person," a mumbled voice cried back.

"For fuck's sake, stop you look like you need a friend...what happened to the woman who wouldn't let anything get her down. Hell, after I told you I liked you, you left school," that stopped the woman, her tinier angry form spinning on her heels and stopping back towards where he stood with his hands up in defence as a finger jabbed his stomach.

"Are you still an idiot? Do you think I wanted to leave all my friends behind? My dad made us move due to business," Pouting, the red puffiness of her face looked like the time she'd got so angry and instead of punching him cried in tears of rage. Bokuto just stared into her eyes as the group caught up to them, it had been a very eventful two days.

The tall man stood still for a second before pulling the woman into his body, "I missed you, tiny terror," as soon as those words left his lips, the shuddering of the woman's body in his arms as her tears fell, he stroked the softness of her (h/c) hair.

"Kōtarō I don't know where I'm going to go," the words left her lips and she sobbed in the man's arms as he waited for her to calm slightly. Urging the rest of the group to go on and he'll meet them later.

Right now, something in his own heart was breaking at the sight of his first-ever crush breaking down looking so broken.
