2 years. It's been 2 years since the last killing game. Junko's AI was destroyed, but that won't stop someone else from taking her spot. With a traitor in the mist, who can they trust? Whos going to die? Who's going to live? Find out!
This is my tak...
We'd been searching for what seemed to be so little time, when all of your thoughts were peirced by a high pitched "HEY! YOU GUYS ARE TAKING FOREVER!!" Monomia was shouting through the intercoms. "So... the class trial will begin, right. Now." "N-Now? Already?!" Some of the classmates seemed shocked. "Yes, NOW. HURRY UP AND MAKE YOUR WAY BACK TO THE HOTEL LOBBY."

"Geez, you guys took your time!" Monomia groaned from her spot on the lobby's desk. "Can we start now?" "We're we gonna ignore the hair change...?" Reika questioned. It was true, her once loose locks were styled into two messy plaits, and the black hair framing her face seemed cut a bit shorter than I last remember. "Oh, uh- do you like it?" She asked, hands on her chin as she bat her eyelashes. "Not bad." Reika answered honestly. "Really?! I naught wear it like this more often if ya think it's that sweet." She rubbed her neck bashfully. "We're getting off track here guys! We need to find Joe's no good killer!" Millie interrupted the other two girls idle chit chat. "Oh the killer, you mean..." Monomia points her finger in a gun shape and points at us all, much to all of our fear, only to put her hand in the air and make a 'pew' noise cheerfully. "Like I'd ever tell~!" She pulls out a tablet and clicks a button on it.
The floor opens up in the centre, and a spiral staircase leading down to who knows where is revealed. "Off you go!" She grins, ushering us single file down the staircase.
Arriving at the bottom, a large, patterned room was what awaited us. "Whoa...." I could only stare in awe at the size of the place.
"In each podium, you will find a plaque with your name on it. Please stand on said podium for the first class trial to begin."
"Monomia... you go on about a class trial like you've explained what it is." "Ah... good point. Well to put it simply; you classmates work together in a traditional debate-style debate and deduce who the blackened is based off of alibis and the like of your classmates, and evidence that you've gathered from searching earlier! Then, you all vote for who you think the blackened is! If you guess correctly, then only the blackened will be punished. But if you get the dreadfully wrong answer... then everyone besides the blackened will be punished! Any questions?" The monochrome haired girl looked around the room to see several raised hands, only to say "so nobody? Okay~!" Much to the annoyance of several of my peers.
Trial start!
"So, what do we already know?" Millie asked towards the group. "Well, the killer had to be someone that was awake, everyone else was monitored closely by myself." Iryō stated. "That's great and all, except you could be the killer too!" Yagami interjected. "Are you mad? If I was watching over all of the sick, how in the world was I supposed to sneak away, murder someone who is clearly bigger and stronger than me, hide him, and get back without being noticed?" Iryō quickly refuted. "A...ah. I see." The once proud blonde shrunk into himself. "So in other words... should we look for people that don't have alibis that can be proven?" Shadow asked. "If that's the case, I can testify for everyone that was passed out." Iryō quickly spoke. "As well as Haruna and Akui, for they never left their friends sides." She gestured to the two and they both fell shy under our gazes. "I was with natsuki the whole time, so we can testify for each other." Kotori chimed in. "So the only people without alibis are..." Kai began "Yagami, Reika, Millie and Zino." The room fell silent before a certain bluenette spoke up. "Me?! You're accusing me of murdering Joe after all we'd been through together!?" "I'm not accusing you, I'm just saying you can't be cleared." "I can't believe you!" "Then give us some evidence." Kai stated bluntly. "I..." Millie fell silent. "Think about it; you've spent the most time with him, you could have easily planned this. You haven't got an alibi at all, and it was impossible for anyone to know if you were to have gotten up that night." Then something clicks in me. Akui's account!
"No, that's wrong!"
"What's wrong?" Kai asked, slightly irritated now. "Someone would've known if Millie got up that night..." I turned to a certain masked man, "Akui!" "M-Me?" He asked, no more confused than everyone else in that moment. "Yeah! You told me earlier that you were a light sleeper, and with the way everyone was sleeping, you would have definitely heard if Millie got up too." "Oh... right. I did say that, didn't I?" He replied a little dejected. "What's with the long look? I just cleared millie's name!" "And in doing so, you made me a suspect." He deadpanned. I did? "If you look at the facts, it would appear you did." Iryō frowned. "But I do have some information that would clear you up, Akui." "Don't you dare!" Tsuki shouted "What's so embarrassing about it?" Iryō smiled slightly at Tsukki's flustered state. "I can't believe this..." he sighed inwardly. "Just say it." "I happen to fall asleep later than everyone else, but none the less sleep quite heavily, so I managed to notice that Akui and Tsukki share blankets with each other. As well as that, Tsukki can't sleep well when Akui isn't there. Therefore, If Akui were to try to get up and do anything, I'm certain that Tsukki would have at least complained in his sick state. I'm going to guess that Akui would know that and therefore wouldn't risk waking the others." She finished, much to the embarrassment of Tsukki. Even Akui seemed slightly flustered from beneath his mask. "So that clears them..." "Does it?" Monomia spoke up suddenly. "Do recall the double escape ticket~!" "That wouldn't matter if Tsukki was knocked out. I wouldn't do anything without talking to Tachi first either." Akui refuted swiftly. "Ugh, you guys are no fun." "Anyway, that clears Kuu-nii, right?" Tsukki asked, a hint of desperation in his voice. "Yup." I smile to the small boy. "Okay, let's change our focus to someone a little harder to refute, Reika." "Well fuck."
