1:8 - traps

I woke up to be greeted by nothing but darkness. It had most definitely been nighttime by now, and the sun as sure to come up soon. The stars were up in the sky, seeming almost fake. It was strange how this odd place brought perfectly warm mornings but deathly cold nights.
"Now then, let the *real* killing game begin!" A voice bellowed through what I suspected to be speakers. "As you may or may not have noticed, you are on the floor. Cold. And alone. Well, not exactly.... but that's besides the point. I locked y'all's out! Kekeke~~~ none of you can get inside, have any nice food, stay in a 5 star hotel, have an all expense paid, perfectly bedded, pretty mascotted place unless you kill each other! Now then, let's see how long you last!"

We found one another soon enough, each walking out from our individual 'hiding spots'. Daniel was the first one to sigh, followed by a chorus of others doing the same.
"What are we going to do..? We cannot survive in these cold conditions." Iryo placed a hand on her chin. "They must have been heavily meticulous if they managed to so perfectly control the weather like this...."
"So what the fuck is the plan then?!!" Yagami was raging. "I'm cold, and I want to go home."
"Oh shut up, Blondie." Joe resorts. "I'm tired of your shitty attitude."
"My shitty attitude!? Oh ho, you have some fucking nerve you self centred brat!" I winced. The tension between them two was worse then a hairband being pulled to its limits.
"Can you both just be quiet already?" Tsukki sighs. The both turn to face the worn male, and they angrily reply
"Quiet kid!" Before going back to their fight.
"H-Hey.... you guys-" I try to speak, but I'm ultimately overwhelmed by the loud argument taking place before me. What do I do..? I don't want anyone to hate each other!!

"Ara, ara, you guys aren't gonna hurt each other, are you..?" A soft voice breaks through the two. Olivia. "I wouldn't want that!!"

Her cute demeanour shocked the two, small blushes creeping onto their faces as she belt their hands.
"Now, make up!" She connects the two's hands. They clearly cringe at this, but the closed eyes smile that Olivia gave to them was more than enough to convince the two to do her bidding.
"H-How'd you do that.??" Kai whispers to olivia as she fell back into the circle.
"Being the ultimate matchmaker has its perks!" She winks.

Soon, Iryo starts talking.
"Now then, I suggest we move in groups to cover gathering materials for a temporary base. We shan't be able to assume that they are simply going to let us in right away. I suppose the haunted house, merch store, food stalls and bathrooms will be important places to check. Since those are the four highlighted zones, we should move in three groups of four, with one group of five or four groups of four with one staying at the base. I suppose we can pair up with who we wish then....."
That was some brig brained stuff right there.
"Then, c-can I be with you..?" I smile towards the lavender girl. She nods.
"I wanna be with little dude!" Akui shouts, pulling Tsukki towards him.
"I'm staying here." Kai called out.

Soon, we were all grouped up. The foursomes were:

Me, Iryo, Natsuki and Misuki at the haunted house -The House-ies

Akui, Tsukki, Joe and Millie at the merch store- the merchies

Daniel, Haruna, Kanna and Shadow at the bathrooms- the bathies

Olivia, Mizuki, Yagami and Reika (who seemed like she wanted to protest, but was cut off by Iryo every time) searching the food stalls- the foodies

And Kai staying at the middle, or the base.

By the time we had decided all our groups, it had hit sunrise. We decided it would be best to start early and see what we could get.
"C'mon, let's set off!" I cheer, patting Joe's back.
"Heya Joey." I tease.
"Joey? What shitty name is th- OWWW!" Joe had been kicked by Tsukki. Me and T both burst out into laughter, me giving Tsukki a high five, while Millie stood there in confusion.
"Hey little dude, you're pretty cool."
"Likewise." He smiles a cosy smile towards me. "Friends?" He asks.
"For sure!"
"So can I call you Kuu-nii?"
"Like... big brother?" He nods.
"Mhm! And you can call me Tachi~!"
"Taa... as in your last name, tachibana?"
"Yup!!" He grins. I smile back at his innocence, though he couldn't see.
