The alarming bell dinged and dinged as every computer entered and exited Lovelies, one of the most popular restaurants in town, co-owned by Asha. Vegan and non-vegan customers finally had a place where they could hang together and not judge each other on the foods that they ate. There was no judgement, as Asha and her fiancée planned.
Preoccupied with re cleaning the same table for over twenty minutes, Asha's arm painfully grew tired over her repetitive actions, but Tahlia didn't mind one bit. The young woman walked over towards Asha as her tight, black, latex pants squeaked loudly. The two love birds looked over at each other, not denying any attraction whatsoever.
The smile present on Asha's face made Tahlia blush, grinning as her gap between her top front teeth became visible.
A customer with baggy pants walls past them, going towards the counter, asking for some ketchup for his cheeseburger. Asha grew repulsed from hearing the customer's order.
"I wish that people would eat healthier. Animals have hearts too..." she whispered to Tahlia.
Cracking a smile, bumping her hip next to her lover's, Tahlia hugged Asha tightly, allowing her face to touch Asha's.
"No judgement, remember," Tahlia reminded Asha without judging her, "you agreed not to judge me on my eating choices, and I agreed not to do the same to you. So please, please don't do it to strangers. We all don't have the same opinions and that's okay. Let's not start and unnecessary war over it."
That was one thing that Asha loved deeply about Tahlia. She had a way of defusing a situation. Tahlia was the one who would usually calm Asha down from things. She easily got heated over any situation; Tahlia was the total opposite, which made her and Asha a great couple in all.
Letting go of all she held against the meat-eating customer, Asha placed all her weight on Tahlia, trusting her fully to hold her and not let her go. Tahlia' arms wrapped around Asha's waist as she kept her from falling on the ground.
"Tell me again why I fell so hard for someone like you...?" Asha helplessly questioned her fiancée.
"You fell for me because I was incomparable. It's hard to find someone like me, just like it's hard to find someone like you."
The two stared deeply into each other's eyes as if it were there first time seeing each other face to face. Their love seemed so unbreakable, even though they were the complete opposites. Asha was a vegan that quickly grew impatient of others while Tahlia craved anything that her mouth and mind desired with a soothing mindset. They were meant for each other. It didn't even matter that it took them awhile to find each other. They were together now and that was all that mattered.
Surrounded by customers who shoved their faces with food from the couple's menu, Tahlia let go of holding her fiancée. She grabbed her hand and navigated her to the back of the restaurant, wanting to have a little alone time together. They ran away like they were little schoolgirls running away as they skipped school. It was their place of business, so it was their rules. There was nothing that could be said about it.
