I walked down the ramp of my ship. This time, I needed to do this on my own, this was a problem I started years ago. And I needed to end it.
Wherever I go, it follows me, hunts me... won't let me sleep at all.

My head was full of so many thoughts, Adam, Evaline, the disaster at the Lab. The possible return of the Twilight. I was running out of time! I needed to finish what I started.

I walked toward the exit of the hangar. Some alien bastards on my way, had to push them aside to move away from my way. Once outside, I managed to take a stop, I looked up and there it was, The Monolith!

The Monolith is part of the Mythir empire, but They sometimes aid Nemsword. Their head Leader, Lazarous, made some deals with us in the past and now his time to pay has come. I couldn't just walk there to the door and tell them. I needed to see what he is up to.

In order for their silence, a Tribute was made. The first sons, to Join the Nemsword empire. Regardless of Race or sex, man or woman. Lazarous was once a strong Light, he walked the path of darkness after he fell sick, about to die, he finds peace with the darkness, an opportunity, a new chance. But that time was running out.

Oh... I remember the first time I felt that power, the power of darkness filling every corner of my soul.

....(47 years ago, Mythir Empire home world)

Our home world... Mythir itself... it was a snowing night. Me and my brother started hunting at night, where the prey was sleeping, we would go and murder them. I know, really heroic, but better die in your sleep, than die from arrows and knives. The snow was covering my feet, almost reaching my stomach.
My brother had hunted some small animals, same as me.

Between the dark of the forest, we saw a bright blue light behind some trees. We looked at each other and ran toward the light. The reflection was huge, whatever it was going toward it means a bigger reward.

Then we saw it... it was majestic. It was a giant Reindeer, with four horns, with a bright blue light coming from his body. My brother walked closer and closer, until he got close enough to touch it.

"Brother! Don't!"

"Shhh.... silence Rohnan... listen... its happy to see us"

I couldn't understand, I hid my bow and knife and got closer. The ground around the creature was bright green, with flowers and colorful lights. Whatever creature was it was beautiful. My brother was patting it as I got closer it saw me and walked back but stayed looking at me. I got closer and closer until finally I was close enough to kill it. My brother grabbed my hand away from the knife and placed my hand on the creature's head, the soft and warm feeling got in my head. I felt peace. I looked at my brother and he was smiling. I stopped my killing intentions and softly let a scoff out.

The cold was getting heavy. My brother looked at me and signal me to go back home, I followed, leaving that blue majestic creature's light behind. We reached home and mother greeted us with a warm pumpkin soup, some potatoes and little pieces of chicken, it was heaven.

My brother never spoke of the so amazing creature from the forest, I was surprised. He would usually be the first one to speak about the things we had discovered.

That night, sleeping a little earlier was the best option. It was getting really cold. A small can with hot Coal under the bed would be enough to keep the bed warm.
