The Villain I am Not

Chapter Nine

As the Excalibur flew away from the temple, Mcgriev stood up and looked at the ship as it flew away. Altus aimed his gun toward the remaining machines, but they have already been shutdown. Carmine walked toward them and remained silent.

"We must save Amberle" - Mcgriev said softly

"Can we?"

"Yes we must,... she is one of us".

The day passed and Amberle was in a small room, sitting in the bed crying softly, she could hear the vibrations of the ship, the ship was in Hyperdrive mode, rushing trough the black abyss of the universe. The course was set to Alethia, planet near Surok Craters, a planet full of plant people and everyone was neutral. No enemy no ally,  just a strong merchant planet. The Excalibur would make a stop there to meet up with the emperor of Surok for negotiations.  On the way there, Adam remained In his quarters alone, thinking how could I speak with Her?...
The door of his chambers started making a sound, somebody was outside asking for permission to enter, for his surprise, that someone was Amberle.

"Where are you taking me?"
-she asked

"I'm not taking you.... I have to be there, something important came up"

"Why did you killed the old lights?"

He was going to talk but her question felt like it hurt and he remained shut for about ten seconds, he took a deep breath, and turned toward her.

"Its not what you think it is!"

"Isn't? Isn't! I saw you kill a few of them, in that Black suit of yours! And you are telling me that it's not what I think it is??"

"If you could only understand "-

"Understand what? That you are killing them so you can be more powerful to defeat master Yokaii??"

" ENOUGH! its not so simple to explain! I had no choice, I am here because i am a coward!" - he sat down and look at his suit on the table

Amberle just looked at him and walked closer to Adam, she grabbed his hand and hold it closer. Adam looked back up and found her puzzled eyes looking at him. he felt responsible for that, his mind was telling him it was all his fault.

" look.... I know I am in a bad situation, I know it looks like I am the villain. and yes i am! I have done all of this, all for what?! simple... your master betrayed me, told me lies! All I wanted was-"

he gets interrupted by Amberle.

"I dont blame you for all of what you have done! I know you want to Avenge your parents! I would too, and trust me... I care about you! I feel like... I feel like I have something in my heart..."

she sits down next to him and starts to cry, Adam remains silent and simply holds her hand, she takes a small time to start talking again.

" It doesnt matters what you do... I am going to make you change" - she replied 

"Change me?... how?"

" Back to the light! i will save you from this..."

 - she stood up and extended her hand toward him, he looked at her hand and remained silent, he stood up and walked toward the door and stopped for a second to look back.

" After all of what i have done... there is no turning back for me... not alive" - he walked away

Amberle waited a few seconds and followed him, but he was already gone. Outside Wyatts was coming to her room to offer her new clothes,

" I am here only to bring you this, im sorry if I interrupt" - he dropped the clothes on the table

" I know You! you are Wyatts, John Wyatts! you served on the Mythir empire!"
