The Villain I am Not

Chapter Eight

(Two main characters collide)

Adam had reached the Temple only to find that the light guardians had already arrived to the temple to protect Shanta-Tek. Wyatts and Evaline stayed behind Adam as he slowly walked toward the entrance.

"Wait here... i will go in Alone and see how many they are" -Adam said

Adam walked softly toward the entrance and he heard voices, within... a voice he recognize. Amberle's voice.

"We must be ready, the Nemsword empire could be here any minute, Taking you to safety is our priority" - Mcgriev spoke

" I am sorry General Mcgriev... but this planet has been my home for the past years, and i am not afraid to fight the darkness, I know how to destroy it" - Shanta-Tek

A tall Pale alien woman, wearing a long red coat, stood up from a small throne and walked toward Mcgriev.

" I understand your mission, and i really appreciate your concern about the dark killer, but they wont make it here, I have this under control"

Adam walked closer and hid behind a tall monument on the room, he took a peak of everyone in the room, there was Mcgriev, Atlus, Sokia and Amberle, deep in the room was Carmine and another two soldiers of Shanta-Tek. He keep watching the room to see if there were any other soldier or enemy that could compromise him. He looked at Amberle, his clothes were different, she was wearing a gray and white robes and her hair was different. When he was about to move back to inform the others Shanta-Tek spoke:

"I know you are in here!... Show yourself!" -she stood up and remained looking at the monument where Adam was standing.

There was silence, then Shanta-Tek spoke again. From the shadows, a black Cloaked figure walked to the light. He stood in front of the small throne on the room and remained silent.

"You have been sent here to kill me.... dont you?"

"We can make this another way... surrender the light bracelet, and i can spare your life!"

"Hmp! Ignorant fool! Do you think I am going to let you lay a hand on her?" - Atlus yelled and stood forward

"You may try.... but i will walk away with it!"

From the shadows, Evaline and Wyatts stepped out and stood behind the cloaked man.

"I am afraid i cant let you walk away with it!!" -Atlus took his Weapon out and confronted the cloaked man.

Atlus rushed to the cloaked man and attacked him with a strong impact. Evaline jumped out of the side and Wyatts stopped the impact and pushed Atlus away.

"Dont! Wyatts, step aside. I will deal with this!"

The cloaked man took his weapon out and light it up. Amberle quickly stood behind Atlus

"Wait! Not you!" - she yelled

Mcgriev looked at her and remembered that was the man that almost killed him.

"You are that man! The black masked man!" - Amberle yelled

The cloaked man removed the hood and revealed the same mask. That was the black mask everyone was talking about. The killer of the Old lights. Amberle also took her weapon out and took position on Atlus side. Evaline saw this and also stood beside the black masked man.

"Now we are even" - Carmine said also taking position

Wyatts stood on position. Mcgriev walked closer to Shanta-tek and walked away. Soldiers joined the light guardians. The battle was about to start. Atlus ran toward the black masked man and attacked, Evaline rushed toward Amberle and striked twice and knocked her on the floor, Wyatts blocked Carmine's attack and struggled to get out. The soldiers attacked the machines.
