Chapter 16

*Shaylas POV*
I'm so worried about my mom. maybe she's still with her friends. they could've gone somewhere like shopping, or on a walk. I have school tomorrow , I hope she's back by then.
"Nash?" I called for him.
"yes?" he came down stairs
"if my moms not hope by tomorrow will you take me to school?" I asked
"sure! I need to go home real quick and take a shower then I'll be back." he told me
"okay. yeah I needa take a shower too!" I told him. he walked up to my and gave me a quick hug and kiss on the cheek. I locked the door behind him and went up stairs. I went into my room and picked clothes out for the day from my closet. I walked to my bathroom and turned on my shower. I took off my nasty clothes and got in. after my shower I put on my clothes and blow dried my hair. I straitened it after and ran my hand through my hair. it's about 3pm now so I decided to call nash. I didn't bother with make up cause I'm tired and hung over. the phone rang and he didn't answer. i have no idea how he made it home. I called again and he picked up this time.
"hey" he said
"hi. did you take your shirt yet?" I asked
"yeah. I'm coming back over. I'll be there in like 10 minutes."
"okay. bye"
"bye" he hung up. I walked down stairs with every step carefully and every time I touched the ground my head would pound. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a water outta the fridge.
"damn I needa go shopping. but I can't right now." I said to myself. I cracked open my water bottle and took a sip. the house smelt weird so I decided to let some fresh california air in. I opened up windows and doors. then as I was opening the back door the door bell rang. I walked to the door and let nash in. he had a packed bag with him. clothes , toothpaste , money , everything he needs for like 2 nights.
"what's that for?" I asked
"I'm staying the night to keep you safe til you mom comes home." he said with a cheesy but cute smile. I couldn't help but smile back. he wrapped his arms around me and hugged him back. he kissed the top of my head. we separated and I lead him up stairs. and we hung out in my room. I ended up drifting off to sleep in his arms , on my bed , watching the Big Bang theory.

I woke up in like 2 hours and it was 5:47pm. I looked over to my clock but nash wasn't next to me. I picked up my phone and called him. just as the phone was ringing, I heard him down stairs. I went down and he was putting groceries in the fridge.
"hey sleepy head." he walked over after putting Apple juice into the fridge and gave me and big ass hug.
"hey" I said in my sleepy voice. "nash you didn't have to buy me groceries."
"us."
"what?"
"I bought US groceries. don't be selfish" he joked. I gave him a soft bunch on the arm.
"ouch!"
"oh shut up." I told him.
I helped him unpack the rest of the groceries then we decided to go on a walk. that nap helped my head ache go away a little bit but I can see clearer now and I feel fresher.
"we're are we going?" I asked him.
"how bout to the park?" he suggested.
"okay. I don't know where one is though" I told him
"well we'll just keep going till we find one. we'll eventually get somewhere." he said. he grabbed my hand , mine on top and his under neath. our fingers locked. he stopped walking.
"wa-wanna go walk Hollywood blvd instead?" he suggested.
"uh. it's kinda long drive but sure." I replied.
"besides I wanna show you off to LA. I don't wanna keep you a secret." he told me. secret? what was so secret. it's not like I'm his girlfriend and he's hiding me. unless he thinks I'm his girlfriend¿
"why are you hiding me? we're not dating. are we?" I asked
"no, I just wanna people to meet you and for you to see apart of my world." he said
"okay!" we walked back to my house and took his truck and drove towards the free way. on our way to Hollywood!
