Chapter 4

the bell rang for lunch to end and shelby, jaylen, marissa and I all walked out of the cafeteria. I walked to my study hall with jaylen. we had the same one so we talked most of the time. my study hall teacher was cool so we got to do whatever we wanted. me and jaylen got to class and sat at the back table. I pulled out my phone and I saw I got 3 texts. one from Blake saying "what the hell was that?" probably cause of lunch. 2 from numbers that I didn't even know but they have mine. they said something about me and Blake but I didn't pay attention. the bell rang and I put my phone away.
"so what happened?" Jay asked me.
"okay so I went up to Blake and pulled him away from Sarah and asked if that's who he was replacing me with and he's like it's none of your business and I was like it kinda is. and he said can we not do this here and I yelled "why am I embarrassing you?" and he stormed off with sarah and I walked back to the cafiteria. everyone seemed to enjoy it tho. besides him if course." I explained
"dang. that's crazy dude"
" I know right. I was suprised I did that." I said

*after school*
I saw my moms car and quickly walked up to it.
"hey. how was school?" she asked me.
"interesting" I replied.
"oh yeah? what happened"
"well Blake broke up with me an-" she cut my off
"WAIT WHAT? why???"
"he said he didn't like me anymore but I'm thinking it's cause of another girl" I explained.
"oh my god. I'm so sorry shayla. I love you so much sweety. you don't need boys anyway your too young." my mom told me.
I laughed. "I love you too! anyway, I yelled at him and embarrassed him in front of everyone and it was amazing."
"well I'm happy to see you so happy about this break up." she said jokingly.
the rest of the ride home was quiet except for the radio. I went on Twitter and tweeted "We're officially done😊. sorry guys!" I pressed send. and the tweet was sent. I refreshed the main page and it made that pop sound.

we got home and I ran up stairs into my room and into the bathroom. I had to pee really bad (😂😂😂) . I got out of the bathroom and walked over to my bed and laid down. I heard something break down stairs. so I ran into the hallway and all the way down.
"MOM??!!" I yelled
"yeah?" she said
"are you okay?" I asked
"yeah." she replied. she was in the living room. I saw my dad on the other side of the room holding a broken beer bottle. I was so confused.
"honey. why don't you go back upstairs. I'll be there soon."
"okay?" I said worried.
I ran upstairs, scared. what the hell was going on? was my dad drunk. I know he's been having trouble at work. maybe he's stressed. are my parents fighting. I was so confused. I've never seen them fight before or yell at each other. what the hell??
