Chapter 1

Shayla's POV:

"goodnight baby. have good dreams" my sweet boyfriend Blake said.

"good night. I love you!" i said back.
the phone call ended and I got up off my bed and put on my PJ's.

*Shayla's Mind*
hi! I'm Shayla. I live in Southern California with my mom and dad! I'm an only child and have a PERFECT life. My parents are happily married, I have the perfect boyfriend, best grades and get everything I want or everything need! people may call me spoiled I just call it "luck" or a "positive life" . I have light brown, naturally wavy hair, brown eyes and I'm 5' 4" im a little shorter for my age but I guess I'm alright but I can't complain. my house isn't HUGE but it's not too small. it's normal size I guess. it's 2 story, no basement, pool and jacuzzi. I have a big room though. it's as big as my parents master bedroom. it has a bathroom too and a bath with jets. I have a queen size bed with black and white sheets with ying-yang symbols. walls are white and I have TONS of posters on my walls. I have a flat screen and a wii, blue-ray player and xfinity. I have a walk in closet with more clothes than I'll ever need. and that's my room and my life pretty much. I don't have a lot of drama. I have nice friends. not a bunch but a lot. I AM popular but not the most popular. anyway... enjoy my story!

after I put my plaid pajama bottoms and tshirt on I go into my bathroom and brush my teeth. I was walking back to my room and I heard my phone go off. I picked up my phone off of my bed.

*text message*
Marissa : "hey! I heard about you and Blake. what happened?"

what?? what is she talking about?

me : "rissa? what are you talking about. where perfectly fine!"

Marissa : "Jaylen told me you guys broke up cause you guys weren't doing well."

(Blake and Jaylen are brother and sister)

me : "did Blake tell her that?"

Marissa : "she said she over heard him talking on the phone with Cameron"

me : "when did she tell you this?"

Rissa : "just right now. she texted me saying that she over heard him on the phone talking to cam and he told cam that you guys broke up."

me : "oh god. do you think he's doing this cause he doesn't like me anymore?"

rissa : "call him. ask him what's up."

it was ringing. suddenly it went to voicemail after 2 rings. he declined my call so I called again.

Blakes POV:

my phone rang again. ugh. it's shayla, I felt so bad just declining her calls. I wanna tell her that I don't wanna be with her anymore but not tonight. she called 5 more times then took a hint. I turned off my Xbox one and TV. and got in bed. I checked all my social media stuff. Twitter, Instagram, watched a couple vines just for a laugh and went to bed.

he didn't answer. I called 7 times he declined all of them. I eventually just stopped, if he doesn't wanna talk then fine. I got under my covers and turned on my TV and wii. went into Netflix and played the movie Clueless just to fall asleep to.

Josh was picking up Cher cause she got ditched and robbed. (if that doesn't make sense WATCH CLUELESS) that was the last thing I remember seeing on the screen then I slowly drifted off to sleep.
